I can say without any doubt paying the whole amount up front makes no difference. I paid my 100% for 2 bikes some 2 months ago and still waiting delivery.
Can anyone confirm if any bikes have been delivered in Pune recently. Was promised update today from Probiking but it is just going from 1 person to the next. Yesterday's update was 1st bike next week and 2nd by month end. That seems to have changed by today. I await a call back with confirmation.

    • Pune has delivered total 15-16 Ninjas till date and now the first lot is over. The last bike is ready for delivery and will be delivered either today or tomorrow. Second lot is expected after more than 4 months.

Sure buddy, I guess we will be the first two owners of the Ninja's in Bangalore - one black, and one green! Will love to ride together - should be fun.

Thanks buddy - I feel relatively assured since I am in the top three in order of booking. I agree with Stewarch that paying in full might not make a difference unless they have bikes in stock.

And I have the final figure for today's number of bookings at the Bangalore showroom: 15

        • I would imagine they'll have some bikes in stock since they would have estimated some demand in Bangalore...especially if one of them visited this forum

                • Thanks! Hope I get my bike as soon as I come back from my work+pleasure trip after 10 days

That would be perfect timing! I am so lucky to have booked it today, otherwise Saturday onwards I would have not been here...

                        • The showroom will officially open in more than a weeks time, but they have started the bookings today. This is near the KFC junction on the 100ft road. Tel # is 41657777

And here's the breakup of the OTR:

                          Ex-showroom: 269,416
                          RTO tax: 30,136 (gulp!)

                          • Thanks Bluevolt ,

You guys can save on insurance little bit , take the insurance from outside or you take it from him only , but if you have No-Claim bonus from your present or previous bike , you can transfer it to new bikes insurance and that much percentage of No claim bonus will be reduced on your new bikes insurance and this will remain same and it keeps accumulating every year ( unless you claim anything , then it will be back to 0 % ) , and save money every year on accumalated No Claim bonus .
