1 lakh discover 100cc sold?I think it is some 40K OTR Price?I see Very Few of them here(While star city is so common along with hero honda mileage bikes).OR May be I cannot spot the difference between XCD/Discover .
When I visited Bajaj Dealer(Popular Muvattupuzha) ,90% came there to look for Pulsar.Bajaj is Troubled with Pulsar brand overgrown.Bajaj Can consider making another company to sell Mileage Bikes.

@Topic:If the News is True ,Great!though ,I still wonder why the Indian power bikes are not sold like it should be as in pan-India Scenario???

@vipin_s: Unfortunately me and other mods are getting a lot of complaints from different members about you. We will have to take some serious action if this goes on as we cannot ignore the majority. So please take care of yourself. Also do not take this matter further on this thread and ruin the topic. Thanks.

Today my dad purchased a Disco for himself. At first I was reluctant to his decision (for various reasons), but later asked him to go for it (again for several reasons). At last we had to bid a grand farewell to our 8 year old Passion, which never gave up till now. The only reason for trading Passion is its lighting. I think Disoc's lighting isn't great either, guess we'll have to do something about it!

I asked my dad to go for Disco with green decals on black color. I'm visiting my home town tomorrow for the festival. Will take it out for a spin and check how's it doing and will check FE as well.

8 year old Passion fetched 25k (50K on the ODO), wonder how much disco will fetch down the lane

            Welcome Bajaj into our family

You may be a HH fan and that's why feeling bad about a Bajaj bike!

Disco's lighting isn't great? It has an all DC set up mate! No dimming at idle. Best of all, HIDs will be a direct fit without any sorts of problem whatsoever!

              And, congrats!

Whoa, what made you think I'm a HH fan . I'm fan of the bike I'm riding, for now it is YZF R15. For your kind info, I've used first gen P150 for 4 1/2 years . I was just skeptical about Disco's reliability, but considering lots of goodies Bajaj is offering I thought it is a VFM bike.
Never knew Disco got a DC set up, thats great. My dad will be happy
Thanks for the info & wishes

                    fraud...

Even the Discover now comes with all-DC electricals.
While I'm stuck with AC on a P200.

                    Life is sad...

I have got the Discover DTS-si 100 cc 10 days back. The bike looks and feels good. Handles also good. I had a P180 dtsi (Gen 1) which I had to sell because there were soo many problems with the engine.

All goodies packed together makes a wonderful bike for 47k on-road. Any one care to give a long term ownership report (2 months or so would be fine).

My friend bought this Discover 100 -- some 10 days before....
I had some time to rip it up - since i gave my bike to Service...
1- Looks : Not much to say the same looks of Disco old model except a beafy Front Bikini Fairing
2 - Self start - which didnt start at first instance - but after giving some raise it started - All Down 5 gears - there are too many gears for an 100cc low power bike - which was a bit difficult since the entire gear pattern is different from other bikes
3 - Seating comfort as usual - and the power is really good on the top gear - it reached a max of 85 and since its a new one i didnt rip it much
But in all gears the bike was stable and power was even
4 - Brakes do thier Job - and Horn is so bad - The rear footpegs vibrate a lot above 60 and apart from that there are not much issues so far
5 - Its a best buy in the non crowded 100cc segment.....
