              • chicane: HH would be nuts if they dont provide test rides, i mean how can a company not!

I hope with this pgmfi now coming in slowly with the HH portfolio, the old ZMA also gets fuel injected soon alongwith the clipons and other useful accessories!

Have a look at the handlebars closely..the place where the RVMs were earlier fitted is sealed with screws, so maybe we MAY get the clip ons on the newer ZMA-R's soon.

                lets see..

Yamaha did not for the R15 or the FZ and still they were sold in good numbers.

oh! shucks! what a poor job done in that department by the HH. Anyways, good catch there.

                  • ^^ i wouldn't call it a poor job. Its just cost cutting. Many bikes in international markets similar to ours have just a screw to cover the original RVM mounting points on the handlebar. I personally have no qualms against this.

I dislike the fact that the wiring is still noticeable. Like in the ZMA.

                    • The screws aint that visible unless you look closely! So yes the zma shall get the clip ons soon. That gives us the answer that the clip on unit can be fitted on the older bikes!

The fairing is looking pretty big from that shot. the ZMA fairing looks thin n pale in comparo to that.

                      • same with the R15...it still has old mountings covered with a plastic plug...

Seems the whole switches/clutch/brake assembly of the handle bar is the same one used in ZMA as cost cutting strategy. So there should be no problem to use the ZMR clip-on on ZMA.

                          • Somebody mentioned that otr Delhi this bike is ~96k

so how could it be ~1.04 for Hydrabad considering Ex-showroom for both the places is 91k...?

My personal view: ZMA might be a better tourer that this PGM-Fi laden ZMR, majorly because of the tech involved along with some cooling issues which might creep in with the bike being Oil Cooled rather than proper liquid cooled with full fairing.

I am very much interested in knowing how does this Oil cooler work...
Is it the same tech Bajaj uses or their is some difference...!

All in all, a nice bike and probably would dent sales of R15...a bit...!
