Hmm good to see new players in Automobile industry apart from bikes.
Though they maybe just a company who would sell Hyosung bikes and not manufacture bikes,just like Triumph and Ducati showrooms.

Today I had talk with a Yamaha guy...he told R125 is coming soon. Expecting Jan-March 2011.
Anyone knows about this?

not true. my service guy who has informed me of all the last 3 bikes yamaha launched correctly said none of them are being trained or being hinted about any new bikes as of now (and specifically no R125). why would they launch R125 when they have the R15?? common sense dude !! expect new stickers max.

R125 was "specifically" designed for European standards
if and only if that comes, Yamaha has to re think of R15 as that would hamper R15's business
and I don't think that would be a wise decision form profit point of view

Even if R125 comes to India (not coming though)...it would be the double the price of R15. So its not a competition for R15 at least price wise...R125 was would be a luxury product for people with more M.

But R125 in flesh & pictures looks damn good than R15 in all the angles.

FZ1 in November-10

Had a chat with one of the Yamaha dealership owners in Bangalore yesterday.
He confirmed about launch of the FZ1 in November-10 (also stated on Bangalore Wheels. A Yamaha Dealer). Price is not yet out, but it will positively be less than 10L OTR.

Regarding new Indian bike launches, nothing lined up for this year. A Fazer 200 (or higher) MIGHT come next year, is what I was told.

Yamaha Fazer 250 Fi specifications-

250cc pumping out 21bhp in India would be a piece of crap.Especially when 250cc here makes 33bhp as on Ninja or 30bhp as on the Comet GTr.Here the 220cc Pulsar makes 21bhp for the records.Yamaha better not launch it and instead prepare a V twin or inline three yzf-R250 putting a RD350 capable 38bhp.They also should prep a 165cc for use on the Fazer.
