I had the same issue while taking a sharp turn in CB Unicorn, same happened on Dazzler when I kept some books on it while taking it out from the parking lot.
Starter button got pressed accidentally and ignition was ON.
Why I asked that question is becuase normally bikes with Electric start do not start if they are in gears until the Clutch is pressed.. And I think the same should be applicable for the Dazzler too..

Please correct me if I am wrong..

    Corrected.

        • There is one more point in Dazzler that is bugging me.

The loss of Saree Guard is OK - keeping in mind the rear seat hight & distence from the wheel. Moreover it's not so much necessary on Mag Wheel.

However, how about the Leg Guard ??
The Fibre Tank Scoopes are not substitute for Leg Guard - specially when the bike falls on its sides.
The Leg-guard not only protects the legs of the rider but also prevents the tank & the Fairing portion to hit the ground.

Have they left any provision for after market fitment of leg guard?

Don't know about other bikes. But I own Karizma and here's what happens:

In gear + No clutch = No start
In gear + Clutch engaged = Start

            Hope that clears it.

              • normal Unicorn with some different body parts and Rear Disc
nothing new to offer in terms of engine (not talking in terms of performance) 60km/ltr. is normal when suzuki GS-150 gives u 65/ltr.
                OK
normal honda buyers (sometimes Blind HONDA followers) will be glad instead of unicorn they are getting this one.

I checked this bike on the way back to my home and found things:
                  - Nothing is std fitment in it - saree guard, crash guard are available as accessories. Old Unicorn has saree guard as std fitment
                  - Actual colors are way better than original press release pictures from Honda . Silver gray is a bit dull but Full black, metallic red and golden color are good. Red impressed the most to me. Black was also good specially because it gives full bike a black theme.
                  - To distinguish it from CB Twister you need heart and eyes of a biker .. my wife wanted me to check lemon greenish Twister instead of above four colors of Dazzler
                  - It definitely looks smaller than old unicorn. Seat height was good for someone with short/med height like me.

+1 No bike manufacturer leave such a major drawback in their bikes.
I agree with below is standard for all self-starter bikes:
In gear + No clutch = No start
In gear + Clutch engaged = Start

                    • Hi folks, Its so irritating...The wait period in Mumbai is 2 months for this bike + I havent even been able to see the bike in flesh as there in no dealer in borivali or Sai Point honda at Mira road have the bike for display or for a test ride...
Just wanted to know what is the wait period for this bike in Pune ??? I am going to Pune next week and will be staying there for the next six month, so was thinking to buy the bike there and get it here in Thane for registration and again take it back there and use it... And after 6 month, I can get it back to Mumbai...
Would anyone be able to tell me if its possible and that would I have to pay any charges like octroi apart from the on road price of the bike in Pune...
My friend had bought his R15 from Pune and got it rigistered in Mumbai, so I know it can be done, but just wanted to have a clear picture on it...
Any help will be greatly appreciated...

                        • I saw the bike at the Honda showroom yesterday and I found it good looking at all angles except from the front. The floating side cowls really looked out of place from the front.

                          • umm... another bike in the commuter segment. Will definitely have the typical Honda refinement but won't be a good performer. SAD!!! Please convey honda to give us a manly bile with oodles of juice in it rather than making us feel deprieved.
