                Wish you an enjoyable ride.
Thank you Haroon. GS is definitely one of the reasons to have a big bike.

Hope to catch u soon on the meets on the HD , This Harley probably is the most logical, easy to live with high end motorcycle one could get his hands on in India ....For one who always wanted to live the American dream or in our case the HINDUSTAN DREAM-HD in India...

Ride hard and ride safe ....

When are you expected to get the delivery ?

I guess First impression should be made of this as for a long time I haven't seen one,and this should be a KILLER ....What say guys?

Bangalore XBHP G2Gs are getting special , with the addition of an HD, it makes it even more inviting. Firstly started off with Ninjas, R1s and now a HD ...
Rightly said. Iron 883 looks a nice balance for Indian roads and VFM. I am promised for a delivery in March.

I've been thinking about visiting the showroom, but some how it has always eluded me, last time I went there it was closed. The waiting period is really Looooong, btw why such a waiting period when it is coming via the CKD route ? Yes the factory is in Haryana. What is the On Road price of the Bike ?

They were closed for New Year weekend. You should go towards end of next week when you can see more bikes in display. Before going, better to call Zac, their sales manager. The on-road would be around 7.8 lakhs i.e., including VAT, registration and insurance. I am planning to get the insurance myself (to carry forward of my Gladiator's no claim bonus), which would save few thousands.

Looks like the GS just confirmed your notions about a big bike..

                Ride Safe...
looking forward to see the Iron in flesh soon...
What a great way to start 2011...
Its definitely GS which showed me comfort riding, but its way too expensive. The two R1s in the new year meet also inspired me to go for a big bike. Rossiter has been touring a lot in his bike and you are also planning for big stuff. This made me feel that big bikes are definitely practical in our new biking scenario.

On-road would be 7.8 lakhs. Apart from that, I would have to spend another 36K for the second seat.

Thank you Shoaib. On my ride back from the meet, I was riding in between GS and R1s and had lot of thoughts going on in my mind. Haroon was riding his GS in city traffic so easily and gave additional confidence. Harleys might have improved over time and hopefully wouldn't see those issues in new ones. At least I found that the vibration issue during idle is drastically reduced due to rubber below the engines.
