      Thank you. Here is the breakup:

      Code:
      Base Price   = 5,77,778
      VAT          =   78,000
      -----------------------
      Ex-showroom  = 6,55,778
      Reg          =   91,563
      Others       =   15,000
      Insurance    =   18,000
      -----------------------
      Total        = 7,80,341
      -----------------------
      Don't ask me about "Others" (even I don't know much). You can save on Insurance by carry forward of NCB from your previous vehicle.

      If you are interested, don't waste time. Just go to showroom and take a test ride .

          Hey Sri

          I actually went to HD showroom take test ride however they couldn't honor my request some senior guy had gone to get new SportsSter which is launching today. But thank you for the prompt reply. I will be owning a Iron in sometime, just working out my finances.

          Thanks Bro.

            HD India launched "48" couple of days back. The new bike looks like Iron 883, but has more power with a bigger engine i.e., 1200 cc.

            If you book it now, you need to pay 50k as booking amount. Rest is during delivery which will take many months i.e., you get sufficient time.

                  I am eagerly waiting for the arrival of your bike. The IRON simply rocks. Only thing that bothers me is that the 'peanut' tank should have been bigger. Say about 15-16 lts or so. My dad and bros. are really excited about this bike. But the amazing thing is that my dad has taken a deep interest and passion for the HDs. He didn't even show this kind of interest in getting the Bullet for us.

                  Even got a call from Capital Harley a few days back for TD and booking. Can't take out the time to go for the TD. Will surely purchase one in a years time.

                  Till then I have your IRON to drool upon and learn. I sincerely urge and request you to keep the thread updated with even the smallest details regarding ownership and tons of pics. This will be of immense help for a future harley owner.

                  ALL THE BEST. RIDE HARD.

                    Sri, I can imagine the excitement. Your each day now has 100hrs instead of 24 hrs. I am sure the time will be passing very slow. Lots of us eagerly waiting to see your bike.

                      • All this cool motorcycle puchase talk might just steamroll over my practical thinking and make me do something completely irrational and impulsive.
