Vivek is doing short rides. He is still recovering. I have done quite a few tours till date. I have crossed 21K kms on this bike.

Hey, you are a great writer who knows how to write emotions . . .very nice. . .loved the part where description of the beast goes on, it is The Bike lol. . .. . nice man. . .but don't you feel like your hands are tied on these delhi roads and you cannot use your machine to its potential. I mean you got this bike to feel it, love it and to fly on it not to just to be careful on roads to avoid potholes and save your self and the Beast. ..

This amazing feedback is just not there in any of our Indian bikes (with the probable exception of the R15 to some extent). This ability to 'feel' the contact patch while braking is a great confidence booster.
Give this man a glass of malt for he speaketh wisdom !
Feedback is the key word here indeed. and yeah the r15 delivers that pretty darn good.

Can anyone decode this for me

ECU provides two digital 3-D fuel-injection maps for each cylinder and two digital 3-D ignition maps for cylinder pairs
What is 3-D fuel injection map? And what is 3-D ignition map?
                To each his own karma!

                    Thanks Haxor.
It explains the ECU function well. But what is the relevance of 3-D here?

Hi Superbikers, can anyone advise me if its possible to buy a Hayabusa in India through CKD route through Suzuki.

I think it would be economical for me then.

I have also found that there are wonderful used ones available too(and really good pricing!!!),is it possible to import them to India legally.

I think the bikes step put of factories in those metal frame. For example, the fireblades are made only in Japan, no where else in the world.
They are shipped everywhere else as CBUs ..... so unless they make CKDs in the first place, they wont be able to...
May the torque be with you..

You should wait for the 0.6 litre bike which will be sold by Kawasaki...Will come via CKD route and I think it ill be assmbled in Chakan plant as they assemble the Ninja 250R
