I'm reading this thread for the nth time in the last 1 year.

What a write-up!! Superbikes expalined in simple words. Perfect read-up for someone planning or dreaming of buying a SBK.

Thanks for sharing your experience Ken da.

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

And I am still enjoying riding motorcycling. Though now I have moved to things more than just Sbks. They are fun. But plastic fun does not last long. There is more to motorcycling than just plastics and fairing. I am not denigrating Sbks. AFA motorcycling is concerned, they are probably the most technologically advanced bikes available. But there are other kinds of motorcycling fun too.
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

Glad to know you're still enjoying every bit of it. Just checked the couple of leaning pics on FB (R1 & P220). Awesome stuff
I'm not aware, so just wanted to know out of curiosity - since when have you owned the current R1?

Didn't quite get "Other kinds of motorcycling fun".. Is it something like blending motorcycling & photography? Or something else?

In two years' time you will have lots of options believe me! Lots of used Busas will be around!

A bit of Off and on!

Current R1 is a wee bit older than this article!

"Other" as in going off the tarmac into more challenging terrain... once in a while.
