The following is what I had posted in pune thread a few days back. pasting it here as its of more relevance here than in pune thread.

Its funny how my definition of speed has been an ever changing one.
There were days where the most powerful bike I had ever ridden was the Ninja 250R ! After getting used to the bike I ripped it to 160kmph many a times on the highway and soon the speed of 160kmph had ceased to amaze or excite me anymore. I mean yes its fast...but my brain wasnt overwhelmed or busy at 160 kmph. The landscape wasnt out there hurling vehicles and trees at me at an alarming rate at 160kmph anymore. Eventually, at 160kmph I often found myself glancing at the rear view mirrors to look for other riders. Crouching down on the green Ninja tank at 160 kmph, I had the time and space to think of my favorite song and my girlfriends dress !
After jumping on the Blade I was for quite a while always comfortable doing 160 kmph but anything more than that was scary to my brain. Anything more and I felt busy on the motorcycle...felt like I didnt have enought time to compute the rate at which things were being hurled at me. I never could muster up the courage to even look at the speedo or the tacho let alone look for other riders in the RVMs at any speeds above 160 kmph. If you stop to think of it its like a bloody old NES/Atari/Sega/Media 8 bit video game. Level 1 of Tennis/Tetris was where the ball/brick literally swum through the air like it would through a fluid. It was slow and you had all the time to adjust yourself behind the nets to hit it back in the opponents court. By the time you were at level 3 that ball/brick had considerable speed to it. At level 3 you never had the time to even attend to a fly sitting on your nose. You almost always lost the point with certainty if you were disturbed in a level 3 game.
At level 5 it was madness. You hardly saw the ball/brick flying through the air...you hardly saw anything...the way you now played the game though was not through 'seeing the ball' alone but by anticipating a whole lot of different things.
            170kmph
            180kmph
            190kmph
            200kmph
I went on increasing my speeds very slowly and very gradually. Every ride I was doing about 10 kmph more than what I did last ride.

Now my brain is fine with 200 kmph. Anything above 200 kmph is hurried, busy and nothing feels under control.
Funny...how your mind can compute things faster..the more it gets to compute things faster.
I am to draw a line somehwere though. I have to say...alright...I dont want my brain to be fine at 200 kmph + speeds...I dont want that for if I were comfortble at those speeds then I would be doing them more often.
Life has no 5 levels. Its just one level with one 1up !
But I am glad I atleast get to play the game !

Increase your speed & watch the fun, when someone falls from a Motorcycle, unfortunately he can't choose which way to fall best & hurt himself less.

I can tell you how I flushed the radiator of my Ninja 250 a few months ago, and I'm sure something like that will work for bigger bikes too.

Before you start: Get around 4-5 litres of distilled water (equivalent to 1.5x times you radiator volume size) , 2 litres of distilled clear vinegar. Make sure it is distilled and not the sticky 'sprinkle-on-chowmein' types we find at local grocery stores. The real deal will be slightly expensive, imported most likely. I used Heinz.

First detach the coolant reservoir and then drain it. Once you're done, just rinse that with a few hundred ml of distilled water and leave it aside after draining all liquid.

Next, place a drain bowl beneath the flush point at the bottom of the bike. Mine was near the gear lever. open the drain bolt (only when the bike is cold!)
and the liquid will shoot out into the bowl - there will be unwanted splashes you do it the first time. The coolant will drain for some time, and then it will stop. Then empty the bowl, then place it back again under the drain bolt and then open the radiator cap at the top. This will allow air inside the system and the rest of the liquid will pour out. When the last drop is out, partially close the drain bolt and then fill in distilled water (equal to the capacity) through the mouth of the radiator.

It will appear to be full, but to let the liquid settle down completely, start the bike and leave it at idle. The air will escape, leaving more space for extra distilled water. Top it up, then close the radiator cap and let the engine run for a few minutes so that it starts cleaning up the gunk inside.

Let the bike cool down (important) and then repeat the drain process. At this stage, the waste distilled water will have a hue of green (or blue, depending on the coolant) and also some lime scale deposits. Next, prepare a few litres solution with 50:50 mixture of distilled water and distilled white vinegar. After partially closing the drain bolt, pour the mixture into the radiator system. Start the engine up to eliminate air bubbles and then the shut the cap. Now this time, let the engine run for 10 mins or so.

The reasons for Vinegar is that it flushes any possible scale/mineral deposits in the system along with other gunk like coolant sludge. After the bike has cooled down, start the bike again for 30 secs and then cut the the ignition. Then repeat the draining procedure to get rid of the second mixture. You might notice some green crystal like things coming out of your system - those are mineral deposits.

The final cleaning step is to re-fill the radiator with ONLY distilled water and run the engine for 5 mins or so. When done draining after that, close the drain plug completely and then fill in the coolant pre-mix (I used Motul Motocool) in the radiator. Then re-attached the reserve unit and then fill in the coolant in that as well.

Voila! Done. Other 1 litre+ dudes share your thoughts if the process used for bigger bikes is any different than what I have described.
