Good, point noted, thanks!! Next time I'll use it and avoid some fights with rowdies.. not to mention, I get into physical actions sooner than anything else. Sigh!!, come to think of it, these are so practical situations, good that you pointed out.

BTW, feel free to post more Kemmanagundi pics, if you have. This is your thread after all..

@bprags : superb fotos there...
the projectors look good too...
a night-shot w/ the beam [dipper & upper] will help us clearly understand the difference between the stock v/s the morimo's - can u pls share fotos of that too?
and i still cant believe that somebody actually got in the saddle while u were buying stuff!
why didnt u simply kick butt of that jerk instead?

@whymail:- I have taken the night beam shots with my phone, but I am not happy with the images[no manual mode], will take the same with SLR and post.

We have to be very careful when leaving our bikes even for a few secs. I was wondering what he would have done if I had left the key in the bike .

Very nice pics man!! The foggy photos do make one remember all those horror movies and on top of it the pic where your green beast is gazing with its projectors is killer.

I still recall your Karizma pic at Kemmangundi, one of my all time favorite. Unfortunately the road where you took that pic has been fenced and I could not go that side, you can see that fencing in one of the pics that I posted.

Wow! The next ride on my list is Kudremukha national park. How were the roads around Mudigere?

Doable. I was doing the BLR - Jog falls - Honnavar - Murudeshwara - Udupi - Mangalore - Charmadi - Mudigere - Belur - Hassan - BLR circuit. Roads are ok throughout! Bit bad in some places, Mudigere has ok roads.

bprags. "Some asshole happily went and sat on the bike" At such times, I wish there was an invisible force field around the bike, something like a bike tazer. Arsehole touch, arsehole get a zap of 11 kilovolts at a very low amperage. Enough to keep him alive, enough to make him see stars and pee his friggin' pants. If arsehole sit, arsehole get a second arsehole by way of concealed iron spike getting into the posterior, making way for dual exhaust setup, like bikes of the '70s and '80s. Damn jerks @#$%^&*...

My team faced the same situation at Fotu La last year when some busty (and brainless) female took one team member's helmet, wore it and struck a cutesy pose for her equally busty (and equally brainless) companion. We felt lobotomised. Sometimes, the sheer lunacy of acts leaves one speechless...

Such lovely pics of the Ninja amidst Nature. I wish I was able to take such pics (sigh). I have a DSLR but am quite a newbie with it.

The projectors seem to have made a world of a difference.

bprags : thank you for the fotos man.
i feel the upper is a bit ill-aligned?
i.m.h.o. it should be focused more towards the north... or is it only me & my demented vision?
must say that the projectors ARE BRIGHT!
congratulations again!

Re: Upgraded from 12 BHP to 72 BHP, please welcome the Kawasaki Ninja 650

In my last ride, my close buddy joined me for the ride, he would never understand what the fuss was all about owning a superbike. He understood it that day with so many queries from passers by. When I had parked it near a hotel for a break, one guy came to us and asked if the bike makes noise . Later on figured out he wanted to checkout her exhaust note. Lots of people were taking snaps while we were cruising slowly. My friend found it very embarrassing with everyone starting at us. My friend rides a unicorn and he was riding the Ninja too like a unicorn. He wasnt shifting it at high revvs. The bike gets mental only after 6000 rpm and goes all the way till 10K. 6K to 9K rpm is where she lets loose some serious power. I had to demo it to him once as to how to shift .

Finally found some time from my family commitments to do a ride. It was almost a month since I last rode. Did a 400kms ride, left at 8:45 and was back by 2:30PM. I went to a place called mari kanive dam. For the first time did off roading, took her to the back waters of the dam to capture some snaps. After reaching the backwater when I took out the SLR I realized there is no memory card in it, was heart broken. For memory sake took, a couple of snaps from my 3+yrs old phone. She was effortless while offroading, I was concerned about picking up a puncture. Spent some 15 to 20 mins at the place and returned. She delivered around 22kmpl and I wasn't riding slow by any standards, I overtook every vehicle that I came across. She just loves being revved.

Also used the car jack to raise the bike for chain cleaning. Finally I was able to clean the chain and lube her properly for the first time. The bike has done only 6.2K kms . I need to ride her more.

Also I purchased the RJays bike cover, the cover has soft inner lining which helps prevent scratches. The cover is of really good quality worthy investment.

The paddock stand and spools have arrived, I need to get them from the transport office.
