    • Pardon me for Laziness Dude, I Am sort of that Panda in your avtaar..
I have to admit i saw this thread way back when it started as who would not be interested in seeing another superbike..
Whilist sitting in office and doing nothing,i went through the whole thread, loved the way you wrote things, how you rode it,where you went, how you took it home, the Scorpio incident, Etcetra etcetra..
It was an amazing Expirience to hear all about that along with the pics, moreover learnt many things from the Baap of Superbiking's as how to Conserver battery, and not show agression on it, as it can be dangerous.. which I was first breifed about by Raja Bhai.. (xBhp ID: R-1).

It is good to see and read all of that, Amazingly Written..

First i Thought you were kidding that only 2200/- INR left in the account, but after seeing some pics on Page 9, and the helmet on page14 (i think.)
      I can understand!

No Worries Mate, you have got this, The rest is on its Way!

      Cheers..

      Live to Ride, Ride Safe!

P.S: I love your Avtaar Pic!!!!

I am consistently getting average of 17. But I don't know average in city riding..have barely ridden in City. I mean out of 4300kms, must have done barely done 40km in city

                    • Got oil change done yesterday. Shifted from Yamalube 20W-40 mineral oil to Motul 5100 (semi synthetic). After about 10mins i could feel the engine being rev happy. Drained oil was almost like a water with no stickiness whatsoever. Long rides had completely ruined the oil.
Yamaha themselves suggested semi synthetic oil for R1. But didn't understand why they recommended mineral oil in the first place.

Anyways finally bought Sparx Freeborn Helmet along with extra smoked visor. Also bought Joe Rocket Phoenix 5.0 (full mesh) jacket.

Lastly purchased oxford double layered bike cover. It does a wonderful job of covering the bike from tire to tire. Also has small air vents to keep air circulating.

Looks like i had early shopping for Diwali

Glad that you have bought the riding gears and also that you have started riding The One...

Also sad that Bangalore will lose the growl of an R1 to Pune..

EDIT: Post of pictures of the One and the riding gear and accessories

                          • On Feb-27 The One turned One. And what a ride it has been so far. Not a single ride was without excitement. Even after 10000kms (9990 to be exact) I haven’t tamed the beast. Just couple of days ago I was following Busa @ 160kmph, twisted my wrist and bang she pulled away with same vigor as she pulls from 50kmph. I had to back off because of wind resistant and more because I was feeling bike was going to zip away forward from below my Arse.
I had chance to take her to places like Goa, Chennai, Alibaug, Ganpatipule, Murud Janjira etc etc and numerous visits to Lonavala and Mahabaleshwar and Lavasa.
The One has absolute raw power, any speed, any gear just twist of the wrist and it can challenge anyone, anywhere, anytime.
Feeling of mind boggling acceleration, adrenaline rush and absolute raw power just can’t be put in words.
It’s just too exciting and will keep me excited for years to come.

Wishing you a Roaring Birthday !!
