Update: Have to survive 3 days more to take delivery. The wait is killing. RTO is having consecutive holidays. This is then followed by some inauspicious days (according to my folks) in coming week. So Ideally Friday should be the D-Day. Keeping my Fingers crossed!!

        congratulations brother,
I can feel the wait pumping in you, four years earlier i literally couldnt sleep because I had the delivery of my bicycle the next day...And yours is actually a 180 bhp,1000cc monster...enjoy man and ride safe!

I have one request-Next time you meet the officials, could you ask the date when these guys will have the 09 model up??

This does not sound right. A new R1 and the manager has to fire her up, with the throttle and the start button? Shouldn't the button suffice?
Ask them to check her up.

Unless I am missing the picture, this sounds like primitive Bajaj days to me!

The start button should suffice. Switch Engine cut-off on...Hold Clutch and then start button. Sometimes it takes a lil more than a second during cold starts.

I thought you were kidding when you said that you have only 2200 rs remaining in your account but now after seeing your helmet and complete absence of riding gear i am feeling you were dead serious..

                          Jokes apart, Congrats once again..

Why is every legal R1 buyer getting the black R1? Why not blue, I wonder. I love the blue one!
