    Finally read through this. Saw the pictures. Great read man. Thoroughly enjoyed reading your first ride back home. Coming from the heart, well expressed, it made me smile and laugh. Congrats on your new buy. Stupendous feeling I am sure.

    The 07 and 08 do have "some" problems with the electricals. The battery does drain out pretty quick. I am not an engineer. I do not know why.

      @Ken: Thanks for your kind words. Feels good to hear from Master of Superbikes. There has never been a ride when I don't think about you people. I mean we have 4 aces in xbhp i.e. you, Sunny, OF & Rossiter and I always wonder how do you people ride whole day long. Its really amazing how you guys do it. Share some secrets brother..or I really need to join Gym now

      Needed some more advice from SBK Owners.

      1. I remember ken complained about Bagster quality and fitment in one of his trip logs. Could you suggest some luggage (relatively affordable). I personally don't like the concept of tank bags looking for rear seat luggage only.

      2. Riding more than 200km mean you are out of Octane 97. So using octane boosters is advisable?

          Beautifully Written from the first post to now, damn!!! Dont know how i missed this thread???? Was totally amazed in seeing the R1 packed in a box!!!!! Wish i was just a mere spectator atleast to enjoy each & every excitement during that time......!!!!             16 Apr i.e. 5 months since the last post on this thread. 3 months since I have ridden My One. 2 months since I last saw her. Enough is enough. Work had taken toll on me. But time to give it back.
            October is nearing giving rise to the dawn of new biking season . I believe winters are the best to ride in our country but again this is a personal opinion.

            I am shifting to Pune next week (again work related). Plan to do many trip hereon. Also will write a long term review on maintaining and touring on R1.

            Hope Pune has good tourers.. Punekars'..anybody listening??

                          The photos were simply fantabulous. I felt I was actually riding with after reading your experience. Amazing write up!!

                          You have really lived your dream bro..Amazing...congrats!! I would still love to hear the experience in person if you can spare some time. Please complete the blog soon.


                          P.S: I had done Mumbai-Delhi-Mumbai in 2006 and halted at the same spot (Air force park) coming out of Ahemdabad. Looking at your snao made me very nostalgic.

                            hey thanks sandesh.. glad u liked the writeup..!! i know I have to complete the blog, but my work yar, it has really been pathetic.. i would soon complete the rest part.. will be seriously happy man to tell you in person, until you get bored, frustrated, start your bike & head to LEH Trust me man, it was just incredible for me. I will have those moments forever with me to spend my upcoming life & be happy.

                            thats the exact spot where anyone couldnt stop taking a halt for the click, where else would you get such pic with being geared up. The Ahmedabad highway is simply amazing & that Air Force park is really stunning & beautifully designed.

                            anyways.. i think this thread is about your ONE & You.. so lets continue about it, else someone will come bombarding at us..
