Yes sir. But just the basics for now. Picked up the AGV K3 SV Dreamtime and an Alpinestars Alux. Already got AS gloves and boots on me, so that's all good. Will invest in a full suit in a couple of months once I'm out of run-in period.

Depending on the discount running in the store you pick it up from, it is available for anything between 17.5k to 20k.

Finally after months of waiting, the D-day arrived on Friday, September 02, 2016. After the All-India Bandh looked to have delayed my day yet again, I got a call from VST-Ducati Bangalore at above 12 P.M. informing me that I could come pick up the motorcycle! The feeling was absolutely incredible. Took a half day from office, went home picked up my helmet and riding suit and off I went to the showroom. There she was, waiting in gleaming red, right at the entrance. Naga from the showroom ran me through the electronics and operating the menu and then it was launch time.

I'll give a basic review here and let the pictures do the talking for now. I haven't had a chance to really explore the motorcycle yet but I have managed to do a couple of runs.

Light Traffic: The ride back from the showroom was incredible. On account of the Bharath Bandh the streets were fairly clear and the Panigale pulls effortlessly on city roads. There are no issues whatsoever in clear roads and you can slot the bike into 6th gear and putt around at 50-60 kmph.

Heavy Traffic: The difficulties started the next day when regular traffic resumed and I found myself stuck in a jam. The attention the bike receives is incredible, but the engine heat is something you have to get used to. Engine temperatures went up to a 108 degrees celsius and that's good enough to give you a sensation of being burnt at your thighs. High quality denims or adequate riding pants are a must. Formals and shorts are going to leave you with parched skin for sure.

Highway Run: On Sunday I decided to let the bike have its day. Took it out to the Bangalore Airport Road and it was a completely different motorcycle. There was no engine heat issues, no pain on your wrists and the bike was absolutely stunning on the straight line. 150kmph came up easy in 3rd gear and I decided not to pursue further on account of not being used to the brakes yet. Took it all the way to Nandi Hills and the bike is beautiful around the corners. Those Pirelli's are rock solid and at no point do you feel like the bike is going to let you down.

I'll put up a detailed review later tonight. Just wanted to update this thread with the pictures for now. Comprehensive review will be up tonight.
