Nope, I currently have no plans of installing frame sliders. I'm going to leave my bike as stock from when I get it in July till the end of the year, get used to it + save up money and then go in for any sort of protectors or after markets

The regular long ride will not be one where you a redlining the bike, but rather one where it will be in the most relaxed part of the power band. There will be reduced gear changes and the engine will just run at a much lower stress level. So if heat is your only worry, fret not!
And if heat is, then while it does heat up in traffic, it will heat up quite a bit at the track too, due to the aggressive nature of track riding.
Use it for everything I say! But yeah, heat is going to be the last thing on my mind when I get the motorcycle

Meanwhile, it will be a good idea to get riding gear, breaking them in . Also the few aftermarket accessories including sliders and tank pad etc.
That way you can zoom in right on the day 1.Comment

Haha. Yeah, but realistically the only other option for me was the Daytona 675R since I didnt think it was beneficial or worthy of me to buy a litre class motorcycle. I wouldn't have been able to utilise its full power and it would have been a waste for me.Originally posted by sujithbvm View Post
