@ kb100, tried almost all sources. couldnt fine one. I have a CL2, let me try my hands on that with a scrambler look. Moving the bike from Coimbatore to Chennai, it was lying idle for quite some time now.

            Hi,

I used to be in Goa during those days at Panjim. In Mumbai since then. The guys name is Porus Doctor from Porvorim.

These looks awesome....have asked my guys to send the bike. by the way who is PSR sir?, am sorry. I have few friends in the Jawa / Yezdi club, let me check with them. When in Coimbatore there was a guy called Manohar who had maintained my bike, very old and experienced person. Am sure most of the Yezdi guys would know him.

Had some PM's with him, his advice is not to go for any 2 stroke at this point of time, his advice is to choose any of the modern day bikes (Apache was his choice) still am not convinced, let me try out few other sources

My advice to you is based on the fact that spares for the older 2 strokers are hard to source, and you will spend the better part of your spare time with the resurrection.Unless you are mechanically inclined with adequate knowledge, and find a good mechanic, attempting to buy an old 2 stroke bike and resurrecting it will cause heart burn......ask KB100.
If you are prepared for the eventuality..go ahead and do it..and BEST OF LUCK.

Dude, are you really going to take a Yezdi and modify it to look like a dirt bike??... Sorry, but that really breaks my heart.

Funny thing though, given that back in the day the Jawa was a world-beating motorcross bike, winning world titles by the cartload, it really doesn't need much modification. It has legendary motorcross pedigree. Take a look at this ad from way back when.

Lucky you Ramesh! A Lightning, a Classic 2 stock and a second Classic 2 to mess around with. Thats an enviable stable man.

What else do you have up your sleeve?

Heart ache ,heart break ,heart burn, heart attack.....the list is endless as to what will happen to you when a ressurection goes wrong psr sir

Since you are convinced that you can get it done my advice to you to go ahead with it no matter what .the spares for these bikes will be difficult to get ,but then compared to the joy and pride in owning and riding such an unique piece will ,it will be a small price to pay.

If you have set your heart on it then dont go for anything else for it will always remain as compromise no matter how good it is.
