Karunagapally eh ill be honest ive been to every shop from nedumangad to attingal to pallimukku to Karunagapally but there isnt one matching my requirements ,the best one ive seen at Karunagapally is a 2003 rx135 4g quoted price is 33k (out of budget) 1995 shogun at pallimukku (the one i posted the pics of) 22k ,the rest to simply put is too depressing to discuss

you heared it right 24k for a piece of s#!t rx with no papers and a shot engine and the worst part is that there are idiots ready to buy that ,on other cases they repair it with the cheapest parts put on a cheap paint job with non oem colour (pearl white,karizma yellow,twister green) and sell it for about 35 -45k depending on how much they need to get drunk
currently im waiting for the petrol prices to hit 100/ lit then these idiots might sell their rxs cheaply so that i can buy a few

abt the shogun/shaolin did not see any at karunagapally saw one at tvm 10 with insurance 8.5k without

ha ha....sad to hear that....check if you can get a Shogun even in a very bad shape for aroudn 4 or 5k also the same brokers can get NOC if psbl then i would take it...also if psbl enduro /puch / turbo....

let me see if i can find one ,step thrus are a rare sight nowadays and since these are 15+years seeing one in decent shape is impossible bet junked ones willbe easier. abt the agent let me see, he isnt a broker, what abt the enduro any progress.... if nothing works surround the guy with a few of your bulleteer friends (assuming they are big and scary ) and blast him.... btw why dont you give puthupet a try might get lucky and snag something saw a few kbs there long time back also a shop with new yezdi crank cases

Even with NOC etc., the formalities and the cost of fulfilling,these formalities will be more than the cost of the bike.So like u said earlier do not try to purchase a non tamilnadu registered bike.
The shoalin and shogun parts are also hard to come by,....and pricey.
The difference between the Enduro and KB 100 are in the final drive ratio,Expansion chamber,the mud guard setup and a few minor ones.The engine is stock KB100. It looks odd on the road...The KB 125 is a better option to go for if the engine is in good condition....or the RXG 135 with 5 gears.

Gettin a rxg is a dream now, cant see a bike coming for sale with clean papers less than 25 k. That 2 i doubt on da 5gears. Am waiting for my friend 2 send da enduro, hes held up now i believe.

Prowler- it was a KB125 with 5 gears, and a Brembo front disk .. It had the body just like the caliber .

COLT : i remember seeing these .. brown colored.. looked just like KB100 , but with "kawasaki" sticker on tanks , and " COLT" sticker on side panel.

Am planning to give off my Yezdi CL2 and Yamaha YBX in exchange for a Roadking or a well kept RX 100 / G 5 speed / RXZ

CL2 - On papers its still single owner, I have not done a Transfer..Model - 1989, FC not done, insurance not paid, vehicle is in good running condition, had been using till the time i moved to chennai and now my dad just starts and keeps once in a while, I had spent almost 20k and got all original spares from Mysore to restore it. have attached snaps...its currently in Coimbatore.

YBX - This is used by a elderly person and never gone beyond 50kms speed, again this is single owner, transfer not done...Model - 2000, Papers are current, Insurance till 10/2011, life tax, both the tyres are newthis is in Chennai

hmmmm...u know in chennai there is a guy who reconditions yezdi's he rebuilds it from scratch from what ever condition it is and sells with 1yr warranty for 86k

86K what does he rebuilds it with

@ ramesh - why dont you just sell both the bikes and then buy a RX? I think you will find more sellers if you have ready cash in hand.

For half that price you can get a scrap Yezdi with papers and do it yourself sourcing original parts and basically rebuilding it.

I've never even heard of anyone charging that much for a Yezdi.

Ha ha...no idea, but he sources the bike, does a name transfer also, gives a yr free maintanence, warranty...am not intending 2 buy, but there are quite a lot of KL guys who buy from him, u need 2 pay 75% as advance and delivery in a months time

After a long search stint...got hold of a RX100.....Single owner...FC to be done...engine is in super good condition, he has changed the speedo / handlebar / chain-cover / odd paint job / original seats....will have to get these fixed and add front disc / tyres....
