          • you can remove the horn ,battery, center stand and chain cover , if possible you can run slightly shorter ratio sproket kit it will aid you in acceleration,do not bother to change the air filter if you do not want to get into the hassle of rejetting the carb .
IF possible do a compression check to determine the condition of the cylinder and valves ,what carbs are you running ( what size)

                • Ganesh i got your message. Lets continue it here in Ramesh's thread. Looks like his RX100 needs some serious makeover, especially on the engine front. I guess, the crank, cylinder kit, engine bearings, clutch bell assembly needs replacement. Its better to do it that way, because then you dont need to worry for the next 10Yrs.

You mentioned about his carburettor, was it original Mikuni 36L 00 Carb?

                    • Today I saw a Enduro in OMR when going for lunch, I was going in my Lightning 535, tried catching him by taking a U turn and I was held up at the signal and he flew off. It was a original green one with disc brakes.

                              oh great....

@aargee - As you said these mechanics are real hooligans, how ever better we know them. I was sitting at the workshop, a police man came and he as asking about his splendour which he had given for service...my mech said that his break shoe is gone and took the money to replace, and the cop said will come in an hour, this guy just removed the shoes and I could see lot of turf left out, he rubbed the entire inner with a hard emery sheet and the shoes, fitted it again on to the bike. Cop came back, thanked him and took it off. Am sure he would have done simillar on my bike too...

Good that I sit with him when he is fixing any spare, but who know after I leave in no time he can still remove it off...I have fitted a Unicorn disc on my RX, changed the sprocket to 15/39, spark plug, clutch plates, clutch case packing, oil, filter, complete cables, rear brake pads,

rear wheel had slight bend, gave it for truing and changed the spoke's, all 4 indicators changed
