Ys this bike, after 10 yrs, maybe it has lost the pickup, but on a long stretch, it goes at 90+ without much effort. If I can tweek here and there it can do wonders I believe

I was in Cochin on monday and tuesday, say a Enduro, not in great condition, but it was for sale on Thodupuzha road (Before Thodupuzha around 15kms), I asked him for the price, the owner was not there and he deals with 2 wheelers around that area, this was parked with many other vehicles. asked him for the price, he had asked me to give my number , but he has not called me till now (Failed to take his number)

For Enduro Fans and specially for Mr.Ramesh

                Hi Everybody in Xbhp,

A simple story about how it started:

During the mid 90's, when i was in school, my uncle use to buy India Today magazines and every back cover of those magazines are always special for me as they carried a poster of Rx100. It started there, my passion towards Rx100 and after watching the Rx100 ad in Doordarshan in which a they show a running cheetah which eventually settle down as Rx100, i decided one thing
if i buy a bike it will be a Yamaha Rx100... coming to the present.. i graduated mca and got a decent job and now.. i realized that the time has come to fulfill my dream and i hunted for my dream bike and got it eventually(2008) a 1987 Rx100 screamer who is just 6 years younger than me..and then i restored it completely up to my taste and currently living my life with Rx100..
i regularly commute from my home to office using my screamer.. i live in Chennai currently, my hometown is Vridhachalam(a village nearby).

During last weekend i was in my native and was roaming around Vridhachalam and i came across a bike which is very unique of its kind, it looked like a motocross mud racing machine and i was completely attracted towards it, it had a bajaj speedometer, bajaj boxer's tail light, same bajaj front forks, it had SX sticker in the tank and ENDURO(the font will make you feel that the last letter is 'A', but its 'O') out of curiosity i went close and inquired the Rider about the bike, he told that its Kawasaki Bajaj's SX Enduro 1997 model(i am not so sure) and i took some snaps of it through my mobile and came back to chennai with lots of unanswered questions.. so i searchedin GOOGLE about the SX and doing so i came across Ramesh's post in XBHP and i went through the entire posts and replies and eventually i registered and become a member...

Will post the pictures of SX today evening along with my Rx100..
                Bye for now..

Welcome on board Sathyan....nice to see your post

The advt which you were speaking about was for KB 100 and not RX 100.

There were quite a lot of this Enduro some time back, and there was no people to buy this, but now that has become a very rare sight.

There are few in Trichy and those guys are asking for huge

I do own a RX 100, thats a beautiful machine again, you can challenge any of the bikes on road within the city limits, but not on a highway.

There are Guru's of RX in this forum, they can help if you have any doubts / clarifications on this machine

aargee / Karthik / Sriram / yamdoot....lots and lots (sorry I had missed many of the experts name though)

                  Keep Riding...Ride Safe

                    Rx100

Hello Ramesh, Thank you for commenting on the post,
and yes its KB100's adv, may be it happened because i always imagine Rx100 as a cheetah for its initial burst or well then blame it on my poor memory
and yes there are lots of bike gems playing around here in XBHP.. i totally agree..
and the bike i own has a chassis crack and i sent a private message to Psr and he addressed it(Thank you once again Psr)
Psr told me that there is a guy who is good at welding and he can able to fix the crack and looking forward for further details from the Legend..

And will upload the photos before 10pm today(i have to reach home to upload them)..

                    -will scream again

It is the least I can do to help...One good photo is enough for me to show it to the welder and get his opinion, and the preparation before the job.
