most likely it wont hamper the performance too much but will make the bike loud, as this part is more or less serves the purpose of making the exhaust quiet..
exhaust looks like a chamber but powerband is kinda non existent.
if you are really interested in results.... raise the exhaust port,add a proper chamber, jetting and filter,
anyway happy smoking....

Interesting result : In the sense of sound of exhaust,Though i like very much the sound of cat con,sometimes i was missing the original note of RX.To make it sound like Rx I had removed the original back plate and kept it for future use.A lookalike backplate was made but without that backpressure extension structure.After fitting it i found that sound is same as before, then it was drilled at various places,now the result was closer to original Rx note.
According to my assumption the design of original back plate sends back gases inside the cat-can elements/filters/actives ,it doesnt make any difference in performance of bike,doesnt give any effect of Expansion chamber.The only harm i felt that now it gives more polluted exhaust.
I have tested all three setup but can not able to sense any difference.
three setups means without the backplate,with backplate and with modified backplate.
one thing more i want to mention that there is something like powerband from 60 to 80 in my bike .kindly enlighten me about this.
I will share some more strange observations about the behaviour of my bike in next posts.

Do you have the workshop manual? If not, google & download. In the last pages there is wiring/circuit diagram.

i have parts manual of rx135 and workshop manual of rx100 but think that x100 wiring is different from 135.
point me the links to rx135 workshop manual.

What will be the changes to get correct speedo reading if i fit front disk brake setup of old pulsar ???
kindly reply because i am seriously thinking to get a pulsar fron set since the braking of rx135 is not matching with its acceleration and speed combined with overall lightweight in total.

Dude, do you guys really read the thread properly before posting anything? Or just randomly post something? It somewhere clearly says in the thread that he has dropped the plans of the Z & had got himself a 135 4S almost 8 months ago.

ha...ha...ha...Thats a old talk buddy..i got on rx135 4s..But its strange that that old rxz still needs a buyer (perhaps me) but without papers.I know that it is not stolen but i have to do all work related to RTO myself if i want to buy that ...lets see if i have spare time...i hope that it will not go out of my sight.

rx135 vs indian 150ccs

What will be the result of comparison between a stock Yamaha rx135 4s versus any Indian stock 150cc 4 stroke in the terms of acceleration,top speed etc.I am eager to know ,so please reply xbhpians.

sudhir,anytime a rx135 will have better acceleration as compared to indian 150cc 4jokes,but where as it might lack in top speed and balancing,but overall RX is my alltime favourite as compared to newer 4jokes carrying lots of plastic muscles.ENJOY!!

That means I can challange a pulsar,tvs or honda 150 4stroke for a short length race ...say 500 meters.....I am confindent about my racing skill but make me cofident for this yamha rx135....If i will be sure about this i can bate my bike also
