Alright time for updates. I had always wanted a dual purpose on-off road bike suspension on one of my bikes. Something like the YAMAHA TDR or the DT or Kawasaki KLX . But two things always came in my way- 1. Price 2. unavailability.

So i had asked a cpl of my dealer friends and parts importers to keep looking for one thats worth buying. Finally one day i got a call and he wanted to know if i wanted one. Asked him the price and he MMSed me a pic and price. without wasting any time i ordered it and the courier reached me in today.

Posting some pics of the setup. Includes things i had not even expected. The quality also is upto my expectations. Hope you guys like em.

Complete lock set, ignition, Switches etc.

    Rubber parts, nut-bolts, clamps etc.

@Yamdoot: Amazing stuff there Doc. The offroads are waiting for the run!
Your constant pursue to evolve a new changes everytime from the 2 stroke bikes is something I could not keep my eyes off. When done, post pics, as it has already mesmerized.

Doc! Mad props! This looks seriously cool and I bet it must have come at a bomb price. I digress but why didn't you consider something like reverse ohlins or anything similar if you plan on offroading? But this is really good anyways.

By reverse i guess you mean USD or upside down forks.. Yes those are damn expensive and not really worth investing for a bike like the RX. The ones i have are more suited to me cos of their price [ they are really cheap IMO] and their classic look. Something like the 80s-90s dual purpose bikes but with a disc brake. I dont plan any serious offroading but i'll try to set them up for more on-off road use both of which are abundant in our cities .
Btw.. can you guess the price of the whole kit?

Woaaah, but you'll have to paint the visor blue right? Any plans for the rear suspension?

Yes I have to paint it blue. But for now my priority is to fit the T-stem and the forks. I also plan to use the RXZ meters and my present headlight so as they match the rest of the bikes cosmetics. As for the rear its twin shocks mounted at a more acute angle.

Im hoping to do it asap as more delays in projects and i tend to lose interest in them . Just praying things go on well..
