Thanks Rohit. I have always liked bikes that look slightly different than fully stock [ besides my RD!] .. But not with too many mods to make the bike look fugly.

Thanks Sri.. Im glad you all love it. Looking by the responses on this thread i guessed off roaders are not too many peoples cup of tea at xbhp so i didnt post pics while it was getting built.
Yes a different grab rail with carrier is on my mind. also a lil shorter seat. Finding a pipe bender for that .

Thanks Nitin. I didnt want to make a full fledged off roader as im not comfortable with excessively modded looking bikes as they catch too much attention and are not practical to use.

P.S. How is it to ride? Why has been the chamber pulled off? Any handling department concerns because of the unusual sizing? Why is the Oil Pump cover Open? Hoping that it's been removed for RPM meter work, is the meter's fully functional? I'm assuming that the RPM & Speedo cable length would have caused an issue with the current fork travel set-up?
Thanks again Ram! hehe, yes the side stand does look a bit odd as we're not used to looking at such long ones. As of now it handles well, just i feel the turning radius has increased a little but not a big issue. The oil pump cover is off cos the cable had to be adjusted.
Yes the meters are fully functional and the stock RPM cable length is perfect. All the other cables with longer lengths came with the setup . The chamber has been taken off cos it was touching the axle. I'll think about a better looking chamber so till then its the stock Z pipe.

Offlate Chennai group is on hunt for offroading. Kwacker, CBR, RE, R15 are all out for dirt/stone laid path to ride. Next offroading planning to take my RX(135) since I love the two stroke ability to pull clean off the terrian. And this bike is definitely the best with neat suspension giving full control on the abnormal terrain. The 2T engine on this set up would glide through effortlessly. Will wait for more pics when you have completed with pipe and rear grab rail.

Beautiful Nitesh sir....! How I wish this was a RXZ, some EL-Cheapo Unicorn's rear swing arm with Mono's from market would have been transformed this into an off-road monster!

the unicorn mono is made for heavier bikes and its a bit too hard for lighter bikes. moreover i dont like directly linked monoshocks. they are not real mono's.

Ya im a bit confused too. Arun [bigbore] coaxed me to try the red fender and we liked it. then when i saw the pics with the steel fender, i thought it looked good too. but with the steel fender the bike looks too stockish and the suspension is not highlighted. It looks like the OE shock have been raised using spacers! Maybe i'll keep switching over the fenders for a change.
The bike looks much better in the flesh btw. i dont know why.

Last 3 weeks update. Reworked rear end and seat. Give the rear a lifted look without raising the suspension. Still unfinished. Need to fit in/ design a mudguard too.
Sorry again for the low light pic. More pics soon.

you could have gone for shogun /samurai seat instead of bending the original one, its a common mod

                              • Doc, even though as you said it is unfinished, still its awesome. The rear grab handle was that something customized? In my opinion if it little more protruding out would be even better. Again it's up to you.
