    1. His bike belongs to the last gen Karthik, I suppose his model is of 2006...

P.S Are you still able to source 4Y2 barrels through your contacts?

Availability and price are the primary reasons.. Just one 2YA set was available with the dealer here, as soon as I knew I purchased it without giving it a second thought

Hey good luck with your rebuild.
My rebuild has completely staled thanks to no grease hands ready to listen to me.

Where did you get the re-boring done?

Can you give us the detailed list of engine parts you have bought?
You could not manage a Rx135 Tank? or is it not available?

I have been waiting for a call from my dealer for quiet sometime for a Rx135 tank and side shield.

Which tires are you planning to get ?

                    Hi Visaster,

Badri's Rx135 is last generation 2004 model. from factory it came as Rx100 model tank and side sheild as stock. The only diffrence would be RX135 monogram on side shields
rest all looks like stock Rx100

The list is very long and there's more to come. Will put it together once all the spares are purchased.

Thank you.. Like vijay said, mine is 2004 model hence the tank available in stores matches the bike's OE paint scheme.

Tyres, thinking of 2.75 - 18 CEAT GRIPP for rear and for front 2.50 - 18 Secura.. Any suggestions are welcome for these sizes.

                        Thanks bro..

I wanted to collect all the necessary information and be a fully informed RX owner before commencing the work. Such a shame that I couldn't dedicate the required amount of time at present. Lot of changes happening in my professional front and hell lot of things running in mind. I know things are not going to improve for next 6 months atleast, hence I decided to speed up the process and get the build completed ASAP so that I don't end up stalling it forever.

Bike has been stripped today.. Frame repair and paint work will be carried out this week .. Sorry about the poor quality pics.. taken in garage from mobile cam. Target to have the bike ready within next 10 days. Lets see how it turns out to be..

4Y2 barrels can still give a try. Last i got a quote on a higher side & hence decided against it. Any other 4Y2 parts (Piston Kits, ConRods, Clutch Plates, GB) can source, its just matter of time & money.

Dont forget the 5-speed look-alike clutch covers, crux type meter console and the Small Cat-con exhaust which sounded like shit. Man this was the worst looking RX series bike ever made in India, no wonder it flopped.

but atleast yamaha tried to match this model with Rx100 look to recapture the lost throne... with no success..

The last model RX135 components were mix and match of export model RX100 parts I guess. Esp. the pod meter console is seen in RX100 in South Africa and South American countries too.
