Re: Random Questions regarding the RX series
get your caliper bled properly , if that is not enough then get the minor and major kit changed, the discs you are referring to are thai/malaya make, imho, stay away from then, looking good and actually stopping the bike are entirely different thingsOriginally posted by Arun V Dev View PostKawasaki KB100/enduro/125 substitute parts list http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/508615-post105.html

The one which you can get spares easily, no point in owning a dead horseOriginally posted by Arun V Dev View PostOkay. So which according to you is the best disc brakes to install on our bike ?Kawasaki KB100/enduro/125 substitute parts list http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/508615-post105.html

Re: Random Questions regarding the RX series
Yes , it's a direct fit, cheap, and parts are easily available, if you have money to spend go for gladiator setupOriginally posted by Arun V Dev View PostBest is pulsar ?Kawasaki KB100/enduro/125 substitute parts list http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/508615-post105.html

Re: Random Questions regarding the RX series
Just curious,Discs have much better stopping power than the traditional drums,Combined with the low weight of the bike,Won't this mean that wheel locking under braking would be a common sight to see ? Also RTR's Petal setup is larger in diameter than both the Pulsar and Gladiator,But why is it in the 3rd position ?Originally posted by kb100 View PostPulsar, gladiator, Apache in that order
I'm planning to get front disc setup from Pulsar,on my bike due to many heart in the mouth moments with the inadequacy of the front drum.I agree on the ease of getting parts related to the brakes,Pulsar setup is the best in cost also.

Re: Random Questions regarding the RX series
Because getting parts for the Apache kit is a royal pain, especially the front hub and mounting plateOriginally posted by TVSian View PostJust curious,Discs have much better stopping power than the traditional drums,Combined with the low weight of the bike,Won't this mean that wheel locking under braking would be a common sight to see ? Re: Random Questions regarding the RX series
I am looking for a new RX 100 tank.
Online it is available from after market manufacturers like Zaddon and Satpro ,Price ranging from 3500 to 4000.
Which one to go for?
Or is it better to search for OE?

Don’t buy from safex bikes those guys don’t provide good spares.Originally posted by curse View PostI am looking for a new RX 100 tank.

Actually 4th quality spares....
Place an order at your nearest Yamaha “Parts centre” for a new tank. For ₹3500 I guess and that is the best bet for a new tank

Re: Random Questions regarding the RX series
if you can fit it in the spoke wheel set up sure. But in personal opinion always found bajaj's stuff a bit concerning. Suggest TVS Honda or Yamaha parts.Originally posted by Arun V Dev View PostAnyone knows about the use of pulsar 200NS's front disc setup in an RX ? Is it good ?
