Thank you for your input. Here is the thing, I am rebuilding my bike, not doing PHD in automobile engineering. If I were doing that, I wld research how to calculate compression among other things. Good luck with that ....., also i posted the explanation because i was asked to

I am yet to see any "experts" you speak of, in this and other great technical 2-stroke forums, coming out and actively helping poor enducated clueless people like me. So lets not go there. You want to impart knowledge, thats fine by me. By all means, please make thread on compression calculations, I will be the first one to subscribe to it.
the question here is have you asked for help and if you have asked have you asked the right person for the help ,from the limited time i have been able to spend here i have seen my share of people asking for help and help being given to the deserving heck i myself have been a rather generous receiver of help psr sir and yamdoot will attest to that ,
I am not trying to impart any new knowledge to anybody i had seen an error being made and all i have done is try and correct it ,

But the way you do it is rather offensive. Making sarcastic remarks on someone's education and inteligence is not an "enlightened" thing to do. Just saying "no offence" does not justify offending someone in the first place. Your argument may be technically sound, but moraly wrong and out of place.
Can you please clarify how and where in my posts i have made sarcastic comments on your education and intelligence . because i would very much like to know how i did that , whether it is "you do no need to be an engineer to do the math" or " there is no law against it" or is it " all you need is the intelligence of a 12 year old and a calculator" . ever since I had joined this forum i have had my share of arguments here but this is the first time some one has accused me of making personal attacks, Also i would like to know why its morally wrong, , the explanation i gave was because Yamdoot specifically asked me for one and so i dont see it as out of place. i will delete every offensive post that i have made in this thread if you can give me a convincing clarification regarding your accusation but not until then. As for sarcasm well all i can say is sarcasm attracts sarcasm

Yes, I am aware that people are following this thread. I do not wish to lead anyone down a wrong path, anyone who has approched me for help in this forum, I have helped them to the best of my abilities without any personal gain. So I dont need to be reminded of the fact that people are watching

All I wanted to convey was I installed a high compression head and it works. I did not set out show my technical superiority or show off any "fancy stuff" I have. Infact unlike most rx builds I dont even use all oe parts because I am on a budget. So this discussion ends here. I will get back to documenting my build.
and all i wanted was to try and correct a n error , and if you had gone through my previous posts i never doubted the efficiency of your head all i asked with respect to it was that to check the compression after running in and see the increase in compression, i have in no way said that you are showing off your technical superiority or your fancy stuff or questioned the quality of your build

Great going bhibu,nice restoration, i want to ask few questions, r the fibre reed petals better than the oe metal one's, and secondly you are using 90/100 coil plate,r u going for an full dc setup,my rx-100 is still running on 6volts electricals and i was thinking of converting it to 12volts(probably to full dc if it can be done i don't know) so have u rewinded the coil plate or purchased a new one, of which brand, the way my mechanic is suggesting me for the conversion is not iam satisfied with, so can yu shed some light that what is the proper way of converting to 12volts

Thank's nitin for your suggestion, so the way my mechanic is suggesting is wrong or a cheap fix, but the problem is of distance iam in delhi so how can i get my coil rewinding done from bangalore, in delhi none of the mechanic and electrician i have known is willing to do this job, so iam still searching,plus you are saying that coil plate and magnet was available two years back, so are these parts still being manufactured, what was the cost of rewinding,and is it possible if i send my coil plate to this ruby electricals by courier and they rewind it and courier me back can u help me in this matter.

Fine nitin as you said of contacting them i found there site on internet but it's not working so i am thinking of sending sms and let's see what happens from there on, i dont want to procure something from junkyard because you never know its working or not and if it is not then again i have to rewind it so iam again on the same page, but still i will search

OMG!, how much of compression is the engine generating,the magnet side seal sometimes burst due to high compression or over filling of oil (afaik), but how did the kick lever bended,was piston so tight in the cylinder.

r u using this free flow air filter for temporary purpose or u will use it permanently,have you taken the compression reading,u have installed gaitors on ur front suspension,dont u think they spoil the looks of front end(it's my thinking though ),so now u have to again open the gearbox to install new oil seal,

I forgot that u r using classic pulsar front end,and yes with them gaitors will look fine, why didn't u used gladiator front end, the uni filter that ur using is it a straight fix, or there r any mods required like the upjetting, compression is brilliant, r these unifilters available only online or are they easy available in stores,it's very heartning to see another restoration with so much of passion,and love, great going friend.

I think apart from being 2 stroke , something is there in this bike which sends everyone hearts beating faster whenever one sees an rx-100,no matter what is the condition of the bike rusted or restored everymoment with her gives pleasure,and more time we spend with the bike this passion becomes larger, and who is this Dr. Patidar from whom u get unifilter.

In a way 2 stroke era is over atleast in India(i don't know about other countries) because none of the three japanese giants r willing to invest or bring new technology 2 strokes to India, i read it somewhere that these three companies and the one Aprillia is still making 2 strokes and selling them, people only remember a product as long it is in production, but still if a person is riding a rx-100 particularly, people do get curious,(not all but quite a lot) once i even met a person in faridabad near delhi, he was a worker with yamaha company and he was very much thrilled to see an rx-100, and he inquired quite a lot of things from me,and as u rightly said the simplicity of design but the brilliance behind the design is simply outstanding, all these valves ,cams (and now even 4valves with 3 plugs)just make things more ugly more complex, an engine shuld be an engine which gives u ease of maintenance, good power,and more funnnnnnnnnnn.......
