Why what's wrong? why won't the authorities give you NOC? especially if it means you sell the bike out of state.

Honestly Brother I wouldn't know what other way there is. Perhaps you should start a thread in the discussions section and find out I bet all the people of delhi haven't tossed their bikes just coz they are old so you might find some info in there.
About Saluto.................... Don't buy it. its a bike that lacks power in general. its made for mileage and therefore sacrifices power completely to achieve that. It has what 7 BHP of power and only 7NM of torque. while it makes for a decent city commuter for only a single rider, it becomes horribly inadequate for highway use. You wouldn't reach 80kmph without a struggle. Honestly you should go for the FZs or the Fazer 2.0 which have decent torque and power figures and overall better value for money.

          Cheers

Starting a new thread on this 15 yrs old subjects is a good idea.
I like the older version of fzs but not the newer one,the pillion seat is high engine capacity is down plus the high price,on saluto it has got some 8 bhp of peak power and 10nm lof torque at some 4500rpm so yamahs have just focused on mileage and honestly speaking till now ihavent seen a single saluto on road, but first thing Is what to do with my rx100 that is the biggest problem.

            cheers

Which bike out there without massive problems has received bad reviews from owners. you have to consider though that you're giving up an Rx100 to own a far less powerful and far less attractive bike. I think if you can then you should go in for a two wheeler loan to buy your bike. This way you could pay the down payment and then have money left over. Just Think about it. The option isn't bad and the amount of choices you have increases.

                      Cheers

My friend suggested me saluto as most of the people wants bikes giving good mileage, you are right by saying that this bike is less attractive and least powerfull in 125cc category, I also thought of cb unicorn 160 but I don't want to go for honda vehicle.so choices are limited as I don't want to purchase a too much expensive.

The way i see it man the Honda is a lasting bike which performs well and is about as costly as a yamaha to fix and service so I don't understand why you won't consider it. Even I own a honda despite owning and being a fan of yamaha. but Honestly the Cb unicorn 160 is crap. its got nothing over the stock unicorn 150 other than a few kmph of extra speed. it even feels and pulls the same. If you're gonna go for honda then I suggest go for the unicorn 150 instead of the 160. Also did you try the yamaha SZ RR 150? its a nice handling well built machine which has sporty styling and its capable of tackling highways too.

                          Cheers

I don't know about your state but here in Delhi hondas sale service is pathetic moreso honda has become a scooter company rather than a motorcycle company older unicorn is not available anymore on showrooms, yamaha sz rr is a nice bike but the high p illion seat makes it little inconvenient for p illion.

Too bad you don't get the old Honda Unicorn in your state its a great bike but I guess its old now so really can't blame Honda for discontinuing it. Yes the SZ rr has a high pillion seat but then which bike today doesn't. seems your only other real option is a bullet. Coz I for one can't think of a worthy bike without that style of pillion seating. Anyway it is your decision and you should scrutinize every aspect before coming to a conclusion. Try also the bajaj discover 150f (faired) and if in budget the pulsar AS150 which is a smooth mill and good build quality.

                                Cheers
