And do check the autolube, If its in good shape you'll never need to add oil to the petrol ever.

Engine has been completely restored, previous owner never rode the bike after restoration due to health issue and sold it off to me, so I am the one doing the run-in for the new engine assembly, apart from one minor electric issue everything else is in mint condition, suspension work has been done, rim is new, battery is new, tyres are good, repaint has been done, re-chrome for many parts apart from exhaust has been done by the previous owner, I wanted to check with a mechanic due to my lack of knowledge when it comes to 2-stroke machines, for me, mechanicals always take first priority!

So honestly I really don't see why you would want to spend money on anything but fuel for the bike if everything is as you say. I say just ride it the way it is and maybe improve the lighting and get a few accessories for the bike, 5k should be more than enough for that.

As Balgi said you should spend money for just petrol if mechanicals are ok.
For an rx we had a motto.. check 2t oil..check petrol...if therez both it should start.
2 stroke engines are the simplest.. there are fewer moving parts like timing chain , valves etc ..hence less chance of malfunction. If spark is adequate you will have a running engine.
Final word... you may attempt to run an rx without petrol but never try to do it without 2t oil.
Now get that mean machine run in and enjoy ...

The engine is done and is being installed as I type. Tomorrow I'll be there for its first start post overhaul. It'll be the longest time its ever been kept without use in years.
              Will post some pics.

No man, as I said in a much earlier post, this bike is a proper restoration and not a resto-mod. I refrained from getting a 5 speed gearbox for it also.
I want it to be the way it used to be a long time ago. But I did redo the wiring a bit for more consistent output and I'm getting a dual horn+stock horn with switch setup for it.

Next update is today itself. I am going to go see the final touches being given to my baby today.
Will post the pics I clicked of the fitting as soon as I get back from his shop.

                        Hello Gents,

I am happy to announce that the wait is over. The Rx is finally home where she belongs and I will be doing a photo session with it in the evening. Will post the pics tonight with two videos of the engine sound and original, before and after shots.
                        Stay tuned.

                          Update #12
                          The Final Update.................................

                          Hi Gents,

The bike is complete and runs like a charm, The sound is so smooth and clear because of the cleaned silencer. The rear brake makes a slight squeaking noise when brakes are lightly applied but that is due to the fact that the drums are new. The engine idles higher than normal because its in the run in and the bike is heating up a bit but that should be resolved in another 400 kms odd.
Without further ado I would like to present the final pics of the restoration.......................................

Congratulations my friend for such a fine and true stock restoration, it was very pleasurable to see a person putting so much of an effort, time, money and his heart into it, every word is small to describe the outcome, but the final product is tremendously beautiful, bike is upto the mark, the gas tank the side panels, engine covers all of the parts looks emaculate, hats off to you and to your painter as this guy has also done fine job, the sound of the engine is like as a new engine should sound, yes idling is bit high but a newly made engine should idle little bit fast,, thanks to you also for starting this thread and answering every ones questions patiencly, i hope you will enjoy every bit of runin period, keep 2stroking man you are the kind of people because of whom 2strokes are still alive and standing toe to toe with modern 4 strokes.

Hearty congratulations my brother once again, and will wait for your runin update.

Nicely done. Get rid of the YEIS sticker. The RX100 never came with it. My RX100 was one of the last few produced- It was 12V with different graphics (like the RX125). I had it restored and painted blue like yours with the pinstripes on the tank. Sadly had to let it go.
