That is true about the meter. In my city there is a meter woks shop by the name of Pandari meterworks. He does an exceptional job. The point is perhaps some senior members can guide you towards a good meter repair guy in your city. Pop the question to see.

Get the body and the dial. If your getting it Get two if you can ( one for me) if you don't mind and send me the parts. I will pay for them

Oh........Oh....... you were asking me. I thought you found one. lolOriginally posted by kusmakerNo bro you got me wrong iam asking this from you that whether is it possible for you to get the old escorts embossed meters, but anyhow i will ask with this meter repairer tomorrow when i will visit him.
No problem. There are guys here in Hyderabad who sell old used parts. I'll see what I can do no issues. sure

No I asked because I thought why to throw away the strong old chassis for a lighter new one. Actually here in my city we have guys who do treatments for chassis like these but it would get expensive for you to get the bike here and get it done. best to replace if you're getting a new chassis.Originally posted by avhad sitaram View PostI had sandblasted and painted it ...its ok for atleast two years but i wanna one trustworthy.

Yes my point exactly. Older is more reliable. But if you use new one it will be more easily ruined. On my mechanics bike chassis was rusted to oblivion so he cut out the rusted portion. Heated and tempered the remaining and cut and fixed new metal in the gaps. And voila good as new. Cost of new chassis isn't exactly low I mean

Yeah I know still I would retain my old one. But in your case the damage is too much right. So I say go ahead, in the long run its better to replace than to save what is too far gone.

and i found the plug to be on darker side from previous white.
That is a good colour. Test the bike a bit at variable speeds at variable acceleration. Test if it I able to effertlessly reach the top speed of each gear and you'll know to retune or detune the bike but from the pics it looks ok
