What is the correct ratio of oil-petrol mixture ?? I used 1:1 ratio,

40ml for ever 1 litre petrol

Got the bike back. Now running in the new parts.

The old piston has been damaged badly,

But even after replacing the piston, there's still a noise from the cylinder side. Mechanic says it'll be fine after running in the new parts. I'm not satisfied with his answer. I wonder if there is any crank problem.

dude by the looks of it your piston looks badly scratched on the exhaust side..first sign of some bad porting attempt or something got stuck there. Looks nothing like a seizure... and you will need to rebore to next oversize and not just replace the piston in case you haven't done that already. honest advice get matters in your own hands and get the rebore done right on the bore change...my two cents

        cheers

                  Nice to see Red RX

Congrats! Now a days it is very rare to find RX and more to that people still going to get their dreams come true.

I was also no less in dreaming RX during my school days. When I was about to buy, my bad luck there were no RX100. Yet, got RX135 4S.

Hmm.. I'm planning to get the vintage RX of 80's.

However, still proud to own a RX series.

                          • I was in the 9th standard back in the days when I saw my friend's brother rip the big jesus out of his RX, and the mere sound of someone ripping an RX at the wee hours in the morning would send chills down my spine. My dream came true in 2003 when I finally got my RX. I remember how mad my dad was lol when he was pumped by his colleagues about how bad RX's were the pickup etc etc you know the misconceptions and reservations that people always have? lol So my dream started with a trashed RX100 with a sleeved engine hahahaha but I gave her a full engine rebuild in 2003 itself and she is broken again (busted barrel crank etc etc) and 7 years on I can't believe how hard it is to procure the parts! and YASS they are too lethargic! They are like oh RX100 yeah parts hmmmm no! lol?

Anyways mad props on the rebuild man I hope I can give my RX a thorough rebuild like you have!
