Update - Got the pipe powder coated. The front fork oil seal was leaking so got that fixed. bike runs like a dream. But to be honest i haven't been using it much actually not getting a chance to ride it at all.

Was even contemplating on selling it? I spent a lot on it so not sure if i will get that back.
What do u guys think? I will give an estimate of the spend.

            Bike - 30k
porting, high comp head, crank rebuild with DT rod - 13k approx- dont remember the exact figure
            Front pulsar set up+ R15 tyre+ labour - 8k approx
New seat with fiber seat plate - 900/-
brand new RXZ meter console with RPM meter + fitting charges - 3k

            Spares -
Std used RX 5spd block with ART piston - used for 5-6k kms
            STD head
            STD crank
RX 5spd 2nd OS bore with piston - used for 3k kms

around 54k spent on the bike. Plus i can sell the spares separately to make some more money

            What do u guys think?

If the above work is done by RDD i feel its worth it else its too high. And 4k for the meters alone??

I did try the 28mm since the carb doesnt have a air screw adjusting the idling is a pain. in fact the idle will be very erratic sometime when u are at a signal it will suddenly start revving upto 4k and then come down to 1500rpm.

But once you give throttle and u are off the pilot the bike pull very very well.

Hmm.. im planning to plonk theTM28 soon on the bigbore setup and give it another chance. On a stock carb, it simple bogs hugely. even on 20 pilots and 180 mains.

I would say stick to round slide only because its easier to jet it.
why dont u try the replica rxk carb instead of the flatslide.
honestly except the fact that flat will give you better throttle response i dont see any other major advantage
