Try Eicher truck beam then, DCM beam should be available in 4 wheeler parts stores. Take your RX headlight rim and check before buyingOriginally posted by desideep View PostHey Satish i did check it out but was not able to source one in delhi. Would you be able to help. I will payupfront

7" gives a very bright high and a spread low beam. Anyways you will get small reflectors also from autopal. The quality is very good. Am using it from 8 years and not even a single mark on the reflector till now.Originally posted by desideep View PostVimal Some how i dont like the looks of the 7 inch. they look too big for the RX.

Re: Spare parts thread 2 strokes Yamaha RX family
Buy the swaraj Mazda headlight beam.. Costs about 85rupees. That is a direct and exact fit for the rx stock dome. it will not fit into a local beam or rim you need to have the original yamaha dome and headlight ring..Originally posted by vimalnair4u View PostI think some old eicher truck and alwyn Nissan trucks has small reflectors which fits on rx ring. Re: Spare parts thread 2 strokes Yamaha RX family
Please clarify the following for me:-
In some RX100s the Cylinder Part No is mentioned as '36L00 98CC' in some others 'YAMAHA 98CC' which is genuine?. I see RX100 Cylinder Piston Kit for sale in my city for Rs.9430/-, the part no of the kit is 36L-W6606-00, the part no of the cylinder is '36L10'. Is this one genuine?.
For RX135s '4TL00 means 4-Speed' and '4TL10 means 5-Speed' right?. Any other number being mentioned of the cylinder ( ex.3KA.. ) means its a fake one right?.My Motorcycles :-

The 4TL00 is 4 speed, 4TL10 is 5 speed anything else is again fake.

Re: Spare parts thread 2 strokes Yamaha RX family
Thanks for the clarification, I plan to get a RX-Z ( Preferably a 5-Speed One ) and restore it to mint condition and keep her with me for a long time. My mechanic says RX-Zs were 125CC. But I thought RX-Zs were also 135cc ( they share the same mechanicals and electricals of the RX135s ) and the same Cylinder Kits, exhaust pipes and muffler assemblies of the 135s can be used on the RX-Z as well. Kindly clarify this one also.Originally posted by yam View Post'36L00 98CC' Is genuine RX 100 cylinder kit part number, anything else is fake.

Re: Spare parts thread 2 strokes Yamaha RX family
Time you change your Mechanic, there is no RXZ which was 125cc. The electrical are not identical but similar, the loom is little different since it has a low oil warning light and the pilot box is also slightly different, apart from that rest is same, you can actually use the RX 135 wiring and run additional wires for the oil level indicator, the singe blinker connection is available in the 135 loom. The cylinder kit and mufflers are same in the 5 speed as the rx 135 5 speed, the muffler is different, however the normal 135 silencer can be used in it.Originally posted by prasath_xbhp View PostThanks for the clarification, I plan to get a RX-Z ( Preferably a 5-Speed One ) and restore it to mint condition and keep her with me for a long time. Re: Spare parts thread 2 strokes Yamaha RX family
Thanks for the clarification. Are new Cylinder Piston Kits available for RX100 ( 36L00 98CC ) and RX135 4-Speed ( 4TL00 132CC )? I want to buy both kits and keep them as extra spares. As I already mentioned, the RX100 Kit which is on sale in a spare parts shop in my city has the part number '36L10' not '36L00'. And RX135 kits are not currently in stock. I managed to get a new RX-Z Tachometer ( PRICOL Brand ) for Rs.720/-. The speedometer assembly which is also PRICOL Brand and costs Rs. 506/- is currently out of stock in my city. Will continue my hunt for RX-Z spares in the coming days.....Originally posted by yam View PostTime you change your Mechanic, there is no RXZ which was 125cc. Place an order at the nearest Yamaha showroom, insist them to take an advance.Originally posted by prasath_xbhp View PostThanks for the clarification.
