hi Arun, if i am not wrong IIRC all of your bikes have little raised (pulled away) rear fenders which are farther from the tyre compared to other stock bikes. hence the Sirac might not be fouling with the fender right? otherwise Sirac is much thicker and the stock gap between fender and tyre is not much for the rx.

Hi bhpistorqintorpm. Must say your observation is very good on all my bikes All my other Rx's other than the Z are all raised compared to other stock bikes. I have put these tyres on the Z which already has a good gap between fender and tyre. I have also put the same tyre setup on my red 5 speed as i loved the grip and handling on concrete, tar and mud. Even used the same setup while i took part in a rally just for fun a few months back. Check out my profile pic, its the same

I need to know some good workshops in Mumbai / Pune, or somewhere near Delhi for CNC Cyl. re boring. Its a ported Cyl. Just dont want to take chances getting the job done from just another guy...

Hi fellow two strokers,

i am new to Xbhp. i Have RX100 92 model converted 12 volt electrical system. i am from chennai but sadly moved to (north)karnataka away from home town due to my work. my rx 100 got fire acident (un known till date who set the fire at midle of the night)

but i restored my bike personaly(at 2008) collecting all the spares starting from scratch(from frame and engine case) and she now she look gorgeous.

but sadly i left her at my homeat chennai hoping i will soon return to chennai. i have restored my whole bike only for 25k with all genuine spares.

the reson i am mailing is surpried of standard RX100 bore kit price Rs 8200. during my restoration i got brand new box packed standard bore kit for only Rs 2800 at chennai. after restoration also i checked few shops with price range between 3.5 k even some friends purchaced and returned back due very tight clearence between piston and cylinder. but i stood with my standard bore kit. if any one need shop deatils reseding at chennai pm me. here is by restored bike picture to stock condition(except combination switch because i like pass light button also added boost bottle). even i ride her for 1 week with for registartion plate.

best joke is i got the FOR Registration sheet from local yamaha reseller he started getting RX100 enquiry and unable answer customers for 1 week

Add crash bar to the bike for your protection.

before 2 years at time of restoration i was a bachelor and i dont want to give a uncle bike look to her (my friends belive). so i kept crash bar, sari gaurd,side mirors aside.

now i got married and have a infant so once i return back to chennai i will add it to give a complete protection.

my next project iam eyeing to get any RX135 5 speed bike and like to restore her to stock condition. because i too adicted to RX

my restored RX100 is my first bike and my mother's hard earned money. thats why i restored it with my earning and gave her a ride on my new bike to make her feel happy.
