Guys a quick update on the bike. Picked up some rubbers for the bike & here it is.
Michelin Sirac Street 2.75 x 18" for the front & Sirac Street 3.00 x 18" for the rear. Contemplating to go back to 2.75 or 3.00 x 18" M45 for the rear as i feel the Sirac will look huge in the back with that spec & will definitely tamper the handling as well as the posture in the main stand. Pointers pls. guys...!

^^ the 3.00x18 is fine for the rear. And a good choice, Michelins are hard to get by in fbd/gurgaon. I messed up the rear handling by installing a 100/90 ( Old CBZ rear tyre ). Will be downgrading to 3.00x18.

Jd, Should i stay with the Sirac street 3.00 x 18" or the M45 3.00 x 18"? As a previous Sirac user (The actual Sirac used for 600's) the 120/90 17" which was plonked in my old 220 looked as fat as a FZ's 140/70 17".Originally posted by jd666 View Post^^ the 3.00x18 is fine for the rear. @ Ram I think RX135 5 speed came with tire size - 3.00 in rear and 2.75 in the front. SIRAC STREET is very good for on and off road experience.RX100 1996 | Karizma 2004 | Karizma-R 2011 | RXZ 1999 | RX 135 1998 | RX 100 1993 | CBF150 2005 - 2011

@dual disc: as such Sirac is a great tire but it definitely alters the ride height (tires are really thick) and also might foul with the rear fender under load. all these might affect the handling. one of my friend has this problem (on a different bike). IMHO best bet is Michelin M45.Originally posted by dual disc 200 View PostGuys a quick update on the bike. Picked up some rubbers for the bike & here it is.

i dont have experience in this case since i am using stock size zapper since i got my bike!! but i suggest you to take stock size tyres ..and then if you dont feel comfortable you can anytime go for mods..keeping a stock size rubber at home wont be a disadvantage !!Originally posted by dual disc 200 View PostJd, Should i stay with the Sirac street 3.00 x 18" or the M45 3.00 x 18"? Thanks Sriram, yes, Sirac indeed is a very good tyre, just that the 3.00 x 18" will look tall i guess in the bike which will tamper a lot of things that I'm not quite acceptable to it. So, contemplating to M45 3.00 x 18" which won't be as bulky as the Sirac.Originally posted by SriramEfunds View Post@ Ram I think RX135 5 speed came with tire size - 3.00 in rear and 2.75 in the front. Can you pls. confirm that the rear of 5 speeder stock was 3.00 x 18"?
Very True, the Imported first lot of Sirac's which i plonked in my 220 really made my bike tall geared than the stock giving issues inside the city rides. Thanks mate, M45 3.00 x 18" is what i'm looking into, may be if you guys think that's an over kill i'll go with 2.75 x 18".Originally posted by bhpistorqintorpm View Post@dual disc: as such Sirac is a great tire but it definitely alters the ride height (tires are really thick) and also might foul with the rear fender under load. all these might affect the handling. one of my friend has this problem (on a different bike). That's what ji, confused which is the stock size came from the factory, 2.75 or 3.00 x 18" for the rearOriginally posted by dpak89 View Posti dont have experience in this case since i am using stock size zapper since i got my bike!! but i suggest you to take stock size tyres ..and then if you dont feel comfortable you can anytime go for mods..keeping a stock size rubber at home wont be a disadvantage !!

That's what is also going on in my mind Jd.Originally posted by jd666 View Post@sriram - yup thats the size. The M45 would be a better bet too. Thats what everyone advised me as well.

3.00X18 is perfect for the rear. even i am running the same size M45.
2.75 would be good for front.RX 135
