Michelin Sirac Street 2.75 x 18" for the front & Sirac Street 3.00 x 18" for the rear. Contemplating to go back to 2.75 or 3.00 x 18" M45 for the rear as i feel the Sirac will look huge in the back with that spec & will definitely tamper the handling as well as the posture in the main stand. Pointers pls. guys...!

Hi Ram, I am using the Michelin Sirac Street 3.00 x 18" for rear and Michelin Gazelle M62 2.75 x 18" for the rear on my Z 5 speed. Its really good for off roads as well as concrete roads in rains. Handling is really good! And it doesnt tamper the handling too when on main stand.

Thanks a lot Arun..Really appreciate the help for a fellow 2 stroker..! Now based on the availability I'll go with the M45 or the Sirac street of 3.00 x 18". As of now, the M45's command a one month wait here whereas the Sirac Street's are a child's play.

      P.S. Btw. I'm a big fan of ur Z 5S

        • I have a Michelin M45 3.25x18. The Profile is so high it fouls with the mudguard. Became fine after i switched to Pulsar DTSi V1 shocks. Had to further change mudguard bolts to shorter ones stop them from fouling then the shocks bottom out.

hi Arun, if i am not wrong IIRC all of your bikes have little raised (pulled away) rear fenders which are farther from the tyre compared to other stock bikes. hence the Sirac might not be fouling with the fender right? otherwise Sirac is much thicker and the stock gap between fender and tyre is not much for the rx.

Thanks Sunnyboi, but isnt the 3.25 an overkill for the bike?

                  Hello Ram,

3.25 is definately an overkill, but again its personal choice as it may add some muscle to the bike. Go by your instincts & pick the rubber of your choice.

Also, i feel its about time you had your own thread so that there can be more useful inputs from senior members here.

                          • RXZ 5-speed yoke / boot rubber

                            Hi

After being told umpteen times by many dealers that it's impossible to get, I finally found the Yoke / Boot rubber to the RH disc brake RXZ.

Very rare, and very expensive (for something made of rubber).

Finally, my bike is complete in all respects.
