Guys I am really fed up by these kind of people in India even we spent how much money there is no value. Is there no one will going to control the Quality of delivery at least on the showroom. WTF govt is doing?

I am really loosing my patience and respect on Yamaha. ALways cheating people and making money whats the point....OMG.

Guys please don't purchase it from Paras Yamaha Chennai.

I understand your frustration, but please note that this is the kit being sold by Yamaha right now. So without testing this kit, i feel its not appropriate to comment on the performance.

But for sure i agree that Rs.8000/- is a bit too much for an RX100 bore-kit which doesn't even come with ART piston!!!!! And in todays market scenario, do you really have an option?

If you are planning on using Malay RX-Z 6-Speed Engine parts on Indian RX-Z 5-Speed, then forget it. The Malay RX-Z has a completely different specification. Regarding imported RX spares, please look out for model named "RX-King", this one is exactly similar to Indian ones. Good Luck.

Welcome to the RX Club! Yes the "OLD" Pulsar front disc brake assembly is a direct fit on RX! And yes you will have to drill extra holes matching the fork holes. All the Best!

The 'BigBore' graphics on my bike and its resemblance to our friend Bigbore's name is a mere coincidence. So do not get confused and bother him unnecessarily.

The 'BigBore' written on my Blue RX means it runs a Big piston to put it in simpler terms.

@ Yamdoot: Hey dont misunderstand, I know that I was just giving him referance of your bike for some guidence because I was planing some thing similar for mine 2 with RXZ tacho and a square headlight

While restoration you have taken some pics in which there is a headlight bracket can you tell me from which bike is that one and is it a direct fit to RX

That bracket is not a direct fit. Its from the old Fazer/libero . Very hard to find. needs some mods to fit and can be fitted with only the RXZ meters and central lock setup. The square light is from Yamaha YD125. I have not used a single thing from any other bikes other than Yamaha n i feels thats the way to do it. If its Yamaha, i like to use mix n match parts only from Yamaha.

Btw, the tank graphics are hand cut by me.

Getting a new chasis is a difficult and expensive affair. RXZ light can be found. Why dont you post some pics of you bike and then we can get a rough idea of expenses and the work required.

@SriramEfunds: Please correct me if am wrong is this Thread not related to spares for RX family and if not please paste a link so that I can move my discussion on it. As I am new to this forum I cant find the thread where I can ask for spares.

                          • @ Yamdoot: This is wat I did to my sweet stock RX. I have almost all the spares which i removed during modification excluding some minor small spares the only main thing is the chassis. and yes it is running on 1st over sized piston do you suggest to get it sleeved to standard of let it be as is till it is performing well.

                            Thanks

                            • bike is looking very nice but why do you want to ruin your cylinder by installing a sleeve, if its running on first os you have 3 more life's to go mate till 4th os !

p.s - sleeve overheats in a long run or stressed run and tends to loose the compression !
                              Down the GEAR and DISAPPEAR

Yes, the bore x stroke parameters match with that of Indian RX135. Infact our Indian RX135s are all derivatives of RX-King. The original "4Y2" cylinder kit of RX-King is rated at 18BHP.

Replacing only cylinder will not do the job, you will have to play around with many things. Too long to discuss it here on a spare parts thread. Please take up this issue in http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/thumpers...ian-bikes.html thread.

Getting a chasis for RX100 or RX135 should not be an issue at all.

Your RX looks smoking hot, why revert to stock setup?

I would suggest you retain this bike as it is & build another right from scratch.

And as sriram pointed out, please take up this issue on a new thread or at http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/thumpers...ian-bikes.html.
