Hi guys, ive heard that you get a specially fabricated fifth gear for the 4speed box. so you need to add just the 5th cog. its tried and tested. any ideas??

Anybody interested in rebuilding their RX-Z, i have some parts available with me, like:

1. RX-Z side panels (LH & RH)
2. RX-Z tail lamp assy
3. RX-Z tail piece
4. RX-Z engine cowl
5. RX-Z complete front headlight assembly
6. RX-Z Disc Caliper
7. RX-Z Hose Pipe
8. RX-Z Disc Plate
9. RX-Z sticker set

And many other parts related to RX-Z can be arranged. Kindly note the body parts or the disc parts will not be sold individually. Complete package has to be bought.

This is what I have got myself for 6.5K(chassis is good with paper)

Planning to invest whatever is required with a monthly balance of 3-5K per month(am not in a hurry)

Advise(everything would be needed)

Folowing items are up for immediate sale,

1. 5-Speed bore kit (rebored with 0.25mm Mahle Piston & not used) 4TL10 block. (ART piston can also be arranged, but at an additional price)
2. Original 5-Speed GB/Clutch covers LH & RH (Both have to be purchased, individually not for sale).

Both are removed from a running 5-speeder.

Update

Time for update again, following parts for Shogun/RX100/RX135 available:

1. OEM Connecting rod assembly for RX100 (1986 model) - Excellent condition.
2. OEM Crank shaft assembly for Shogun.
3. OEM RX135 Silencer (Chrome type) - This was fitted in 1998 make RX135, not used for the last 8Yrs, Very good condition.
4. OEM RX135 Silencer (Catalytic type - Big one) - Excellent condition with cat-con in working condition.
5. Expansion Chamber for RX135 (Best suited for 5-speed bore kit in stock condition) - This is custom built & in excellent condition.

Time for some update. Following items for sale:

1. One more set for "ART" piston for RX135, sizes: STD, 0.25mm & 0.50mm available. (New)
2. One more set of RX135 Crank shaft assembly (with con rod) available (New, box piece).

Note: On Special request, new (Box Piece) RX135 4-speed (4TL00) & 5-speed (4TL10) Bore Kit (Piston-Cylinder kit) can be arranged.

This is the reply one of our members Ashok George got from Yamaha India for his query on RX spare parts. Highlighted part is the reply. For some of us this might have been obvious but for rest of us who are in the denial mode, time to accept and move on.

Serviceability means ability of Yamaha to service the request for spare and not servicing as in repairing/overhauling.
