All the best jd here too no news from the co for major spares,it just came to my mind there was news going quite long ago that yamaha will be selling spares for their old bikes like RD/RX,RX spares are difficult for them to make it available how the hell they will supply spares for a bike which is more than 25yrs old, they could not keep their promise for the spares of the RD

I would suggest you to introduce yourself in the 'Who are section' of this forum.

Share some details about your ride/restoration before you can ask questions like you wanted to buy vegetables.

Vegetables !!!!!!! LOL. That was a good one.

Even the vegetable rates have gone up, but atleast they are available, unlike bore kits.

But i still need the following -

                    - Original RXZ headlight complete assy

                    - Front rim spokes, if anyone would have an idea, or which alternate would work. ( the bike is runnng the stock disc brake setup from the company ).

                    - Front number plate.

                      • ^^ it might work, but im trying to make my bike as original as possible. The only mod it currently has is that its running a RX100 silencer.

                        • Good, stock bike's are always easy to maintain and take care,go for mandap rim's they are available not an issue, regarding the head light of the Z thats next to impossible,i would suggest,if you are really interested for the original Z head light get in touch with bigbore he might surely help you in this as his Z is on a new build.

                              • how humiliating it will be for the sellers to answer all yamaha owners who are asking for spares,at times they will be saying why the hell co is not sending spares when there is so much order many must not even attending customer calls asking for spares, any way dont loose hope just follow up surely you will get all required spares some how brothers
