RC book as well as insurance should have the ENgine number & Chasis number printed in it. Other alternative is, check in the bike itself (You will find the engine number embossed on LH side, the gear shifter side) & keep us posted. I am sure i will be able to conclude once i have those data. Any confusion still?Originally posted by dpak89 View Post

Here is what i want you to do, check the real Engine number on the bike itself, forget the number in RC or Insurance papers. Whatever is written on the engine, let me know the exact number. In RC Book, generally the entry is not complete, i.e they omit certain codes or spelling mistakes etc, hence asking you to confirm from the source itself, i.e your bike engine.Originally posted by dpak89 View Post@karthik:yea bro it has both the engine and chassis no...i am not in home rite now so cant tell u those info ...as far as i know...both the no matches with the no specified in the Rc book...and U mean ,u can find the type of bike by seeing the no itself??

You are welcome. Am sure these new jets should do the job on your friend's RX.Originally posted by Sarvajit View Post@karthikdattag: Thanks for giving me the parts-hope my friend's bike will be healthy again!
@arvindraju: Thanks for guiding me to Karthik!
Also FYI, Arvind is the first person i met through xbhp & he really is a very nice & helpful guy.

Go for the Original RX135 5-Speed, it will add to your collection with R15. If you can't get it, then try the RX135 4-Speed, all the spares can be arranged for the 4-Speed.Originally posted by Sarvajit View PostHmm, now I'm getting tempted to buy myself an RX too!

Got a new MIKUNI VM26 carb for RXKing. This seems to be a High quality replica. It has a Viton tipped float pin too! The quality is so good i just had to buy it despite of it being of no immediate use.
I feel it will work on stock RDs too if jetted correctly.Last edited by yamdoot; 12-17-2010, 02:03 PM.1985 Yamaha RD350 HT
