This is the reply one of our members Ashok George got from Yamaha India for his query on RX spare parts. Highlighted part is the reply. For some of us this might have been obvious but for rest of us who are in the denial mode, time to accept and move on.

Serviceability means ability of Yamaha to service the request for spare and not servicing as in repairing/overhauling.

Yes, this is very true. I too had a talk with Mr.Ashok George, infact under this same very thread i had myself posted a email from Yamaha customer care confirming their constraint for manufacturing.

Hence i request guys here to accept the things they are & just move on with whatever sources/spares that are available. The bore kits, pistons, cranks, carb assemblies etc are already history now.

Its very sad indeed that one of the best 2-strokes which were produced in India has such a fate.

Sooooo happy to see the thread.

I too started with the restoration of my RX100, unfortunately I had to stop since the bore kit is not avilable anywhere in Blore (at least the shops/dealers). And my bore is running on the last size

Sorry guys, my prices keep changing & hence i request members to send a PM or call me directly. As an example, if a sell a Head for Rs.x to some party, then there is no guarantee that i will be selling another head for the same price to other person, it could be Rs.x+y or x-y depending on what my buying price is.

I am not hiding prices, but i dont encourage window shoppers. Prices will be revealed to genuine buyers only. Hope it is clear.

And at last, i prefer private transaction only.

My opinion if u want to aviod window shoppers is put the price here so if someone has the cash to spend they will contact u and take them right away. tht way you will not be getting so many sms for prices and you dont have to waste time replying to them

Karthik has clearly given due reasons for not having a price around each line items. It is very loud and clear message to our community that those interested shall contact him offline to get to know the price of the desired spares.

This way would put argument with the pricing of the spares in the background rather on this thread, if any.

I respect your intention for creating this thread for the community. Some prefer to disclose the price of the spares and some don't.

My personal opinion is that, original intention of this thread is to help each other and IT IS displayed, discussing price on the thread, I would think is completely to the discretion of the seller.
