Caliper is 6000? You can get a hayabusa caliper overseas for that price.

I paid some 1700 for Pulsar Master cylinder+hose+caliper with brake fluid in it and already bled. Plug and Play!

I had paid approx 10k, and that included the spokes, headlight stay, inner tubes, top plate, alen key bolts, apart from the list you have mentioned. In a nutsell, it was the complete front end of Gladiator.

Looks like gladi setup is "MOST in DEMAND item" for RX series, it sure is selling like hot cakes!!!!!!

If it's most demanded item, the prices should gradually decrease right as the model and the spares are still flooded everywhere! But, it's the other way here...! Damn these guys decide their pricing on their own...!

i have heard/seen lot of RX in my area having gladi's disc setup!! its very much in demand in seconds also , at least in Coimbatore!!

@ Seniors, Enquired about the Gladi's set-up locally in Cbe and this is the prices it was quoted. Although i know it's too high, just wanted to know how much the same would cost in a place near-by like kerala, bangi or elsewhere...

as a matter of fact now it is difficult to find OE rims, spokes etc..you have to resort to HH parts

No Satish, they are handing out printed invoices only....Wondering how can they inflate the price from MRP & bill it?

I've heard mixed views on this, people have paid ranging from 3k to 5k including the hose. Can you pls. confirm the Chennai price if possible?

Makes me think, I'd rather not mind travelling to Chennai or use Sriram & Deepak's help for the same.

may be the defunct model parts are getting costlier day by day. Pricol used to sell a disc conversion kit for RX i think. what other options we have from HH models? old CBZ, super splendor etc..

My friend is also fitting Disc brakes in his 96 RX100. total cost is around 11.5k including labor and all. we have a "somewhat trusted" mechanic and took all responsibility including finding parts and all. We will take delivery tomorrow and will try to post more info about separate parts used ifi can.

btw initially he gave estimated price of around 9k , but later increased it after buying the spares.
