          hehe Liked that Karthik..

Few days back I have seen RXZ side panels(both red and blue) in a two wheeler spares shop at cochin. But I believe they are not original ones.
Hope Karthik and other experts here can identify. I have got snaps which is taken with my mobile cam.

          • ^^ Very difficult to identify in this pic Sanjith, although these looks to be OEM as the first one is of the 4S side panels that came along with stickers & the later was 5S with Sticker...Close pic of them can say some truth though

            P.S. Is that a junkyard??

Get pics of the inside (not the sticker pasted side) that should help ...

Pick em up even if they are not OE ...

                  Visited the shop again.
Tried to get some clear snaps and snaps of the other side. But those side panels are hanged from the roof and me got to use mobile cam's zoom.
Even though I dont have a RXZ, me got little crazy after seeing the posts like RXZ parts are near extinct. Can't find any other spares for RXZ in that shop.
                  Are they OE ones?

Sanjith, RX-Z body parts are still available (OE Ones). What you don't get is the Tank, Chasis, Seat, Bore, Head, disc asssembly, headlight assembly, clutch/magnet covers & Carb : without these an RX-Z is incomplete.

Some private stockists have these parts, but i am talking about YASS, who reply in shock when we ask about RX-Z!!!!!!! Its as though i have asked them the address of some underworld don.

Regarding the part you have seen in that shop, please pick it up if you are sure you will sell it or if you plan to buy an RX-Z. Else it is not worth the headache.

Arun (bigbore) was able to pull of this build since he had most of the parts available with him. I can vouch for the fact that there are not many people in India who can still build an RX-Z right from scratch with all OE & New parts.

Very true Karthik only few spares are available only with stockists and not YASS. And prices quote by these private stockists are all steep. Z spares are extremely difficult to find these days. Trust me i had collected the complete Z spares for more than 2 years and then went for the complete restoration. Its easy to build an RX but not a RXZ

@ Sanjith - I would suggest pick them up and give it to people who actually need it. Will surely be a great help to fellow Z users who require them

Go to the main road near your house, on your left side third shop you'll find RXZ visor neatly stacked in Yamaha packing.

On a serious note, very very rare to source one!
