well, Change only when needed. I mean check the compression of the bike with pressure gauge (available with mechanics) if its okay or not.Originally posted by Doctor Noel View Postcan anyone share basic info on changing piston for RX135? Bought 1st OS piston to do the work, but still want some more info and what to do & not to do etcc
While reboring the block for a new piston, Make sure the port edges are well chamfered (No sharp edges) to avoid any damage to rings. Also get it honed properly with cross hatch pattern (It holds lubrication better on cylinder wall)
Check the clearances of piston and cylinder while rebore (Ask the rebore guy to do it very carefully) if not done properly you will feel that piston is rattling and you are screwed
Hope this helpsBikes don't leak oil, They mark their territory.

RXZ 5 speed side panels and rear cowl

I restored my RXZ 5 speed some 2 years ago and removed these. I have them since then. These are Original Ones, Factory painted, Original stickers.
These are surely not for bikes who are being restored as Factory condition.
These are for those who are looking for replacement ones on their bikes(Don't wanna pay sky high because of spares scarcity
).
Condition of the panels are well stated in the pics.
I would like to give them for FREE (Only transportation charges) if anybody needs a replacement panel for his bike. STOCKISTS please excuse.Bikes don't leak oil, They mark their territory.
