    Too many dropping out???

    Hopefully water levels will go down today and you guys will be able to start off.

      I dont have any issue with riding in the rains, but if my bike gets marooned in the water, that too tomorrow early morning, I will not be able to do anything! There was stagnant water upto the radiator of my bike. The whole front disc brake rotor was not visible yesterday evening when I returned from office. It surely has increased since then...

        Still all is not lost, maybe you could give the APTDC guys a call and explain the situation, they just might agree to shift the booking to next weekend!

        Don't hit me for this now, just an opinion!

              I am beginning to agree with Praful now that there r so many dropping out. A postponment, if agreed by APTDC, would be great since we r having to deal with too much rain and too many dropouts otherwise.

                The best part is that most offices at Chennai have declared a cmpensatory holiday today on account of the rains. That means we will be working next weekend.

                  Would that suffice? I have my office till 11 PM today.

                      Kindly let me know if this ride is happening this weekend or not. I am busy on all the remaining weekends with examinations. Kindly let me know ASAP so I can jump on to this trip instead.

                        While there may be a reasonable excuses to pull out of the ride, based on the confirmations, Praveen and Kirosh have gambled 9K in booking for a place to stay.

                        It would be extremely rude and impolite to pull out of the trip without compensating expenses to them in case they r unable to get postponment of the booking or refund of the booking amount. The money has been paid in good faith and its important to retain this faith. Although, further plans have not been confirmed, I would prefer everyone to be prepared to share their burden, whatever it may be.

                        Does anyone have anything else to add/modify to this?

                            If this ride is getting cancelled tommorow then me and anish will nt be able to join on any forthcoming week as next to next week am leaving bangalore and heading to my home time for winters. Next week am held up resurrecting my old bike hh ambition as it has to be dispatched to my home town. Further if the ride is cancelled please post it by noon as i have a duty to inform to those whom i have confirmed.

                            BY the way my bike is also undergoing starting problem which i have ignored for quiet a long . i had mentioned this on R15 ownership page, if the ride gets cancelled i will head to YSC for analysis.

                            Further to Prajwal details above my friend Anish has agreed to ride on a trust that it wont be cancelled as he has ofc next week and wont come to ride on next to next week. I cannot ask him to pay his share as he joined this ride based on initial ride details and so many confirmations that it would not be cancelled. So guys dont turn down to me if he does not pays as he has his own reasons . ... Sorry but i must be honest with things.

                              I Agree wit Prajwal... In any case if this trip gets cancelled for this weekend and if they are unable to postpon the room rents.. I am ready to share my amount in this gamble made... please let me know my share...

                              I strongly suggest a final confirmation from all the participants (especially chennai guys), based on which we could arrive upon a decision on this ride... moreover if the initiaters (praveen,steve,kirosh.. etc) of this ride are willing to make this happen as they have put their efforts on it.. i am ready to make a bet on my bike and take it for this ride..

                              Please confirm this before 6 PM today, my net connection at home is not working due to rain. or else please give me a call or message me at 9884233200... i would be thankful for the one who updates me about the ride status.
