loads of ppl for the ride man .. we need to work out the logistics of the ride for safety's sake.
I suggest breaking it into 3 groups from the bangalore side. We should make sure we follow a strict code while riding to make this an incident free ride.

good point raised archi !
actually last time we DID have two groups
Rippers (above 90kmph)
Cruisers ( 70-90kmph)
this worked very well
while we were going ,but on the return things were a mess due to lack of communication.
GUYS please check your cellphones ... last time bangalore group was totally split on the return because no was able to contact the other. we must have plans on where to stop so that the 2nd group can catch up with the first and then again proceed.
who will be carrying the toolkit from the bangy side ? ill have wheel nut spanner , screwdrivers and probably some fuses (rating as per my bike) anyone bringing any footpump ?A man's testosterone level is directly proportional to bhp that he's using on his motorcycle.

Motorcycle Etiquette
The Quick & Short ListStandard staggered formation. You should be 1 to 1.5 seconds behind the staggered bike, which would put you 2 to 3 seconds behind the bike directly in front of you.
If you like to ride slow or are new to group riding get up front. Those who like to ride fast should ride in the back. New riders may think they want to ride in the back, but the reality is just the opposite, they need to be near the front.
Please Visit : Motorcyle Etiquette
Its Important that, we not only speak about Road Rules and Etiquette's but to follow them. Hope this Interstate GTG would help many of us with regard to Group Riding & Touring.

1. Stop points would be a very good idea. Make a group stop every 50-70 kms to regroup.
2. While taking breaks, make sure that the guy arriving last has enough rest and be not be made to start riding immediately just because the guy who stopped first has finished his break. Discuss riding observations during the regroup sessions.
3. Make sure u r face is pasted on the RVM of the guy in front. And make sure the face of the guy behind u is also pasted on ur RVM. This is crucial for a group ride.
4. Check everyone's tyre status everytime u stop.
5. This is a joy-ride, not a business-trip. Make it enjoyable for everyone, not hellish.
6. Make speed announcements well before u start riding. It would be hellish for a cruiser to be 50 kms behind even before half way mark is reached. He/she will prolly just turn around and go back home or swear to never ride with the group again.
7. If u want to leave the group behind, then expect the group to leave u behind too when it comes to it. So showing off ur speeds would be most amateurish in a group.
8. Higher speeds mean higher distances between riders.
9. Practice at least one form of hand-signal between riding sessions. By the time the ride comes to an end, u'll begin to enjoy group riding sessions, and u'll look forward for another ride.
Cheers!

All men dream, but not equally. Those that dream at night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act upon their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible. - T. E. Lawrence
