    This is the trip plan...


    Sounds exciting isn't it? But, this T'Log is all about, how the entire plan got jammed up real bad. But yes, pics are there for sure.

      Boy oh boy !!! This looks like one huge tour.... But why didn't you travel up a little more and touched GOA as well???

                    Sorry to hear that the trip did not go well.

                    About the Bungee Cord tripping off - something stuck me when i was riding to Tirukkovilur Last weekend - I was using a new Bungee and tied up my backpack to the pillion seat. After reaching the Bypass - felt something odd about the bag & bungeed the extra bungee over the new bungee - Believe it or not - The new bungee had tripped and the bag was holding its place thanks to the other bungee.

                    Made it a point, I should never trust anything that is beyond my vision & extra care is what is required. Once again, bad things happen - we need to put it away and use it as an experience to be more proactive the next time. Hope you did not lose any of the valuables you might have bungeed!

                      Hope you had not lost anything because of this. I lost a riding jacket between Tirdhahalli and Agumbe when the bungee hook gave way.

                        Samething happened when I visited Latur and Parli. But tied up the broken ends and got a shorter cord and continued my journey. Sad too see that you were able to make only a third of the trip. But, there's always a next time.

                          Those bungee's are similar to the ones i currently use and due to this happening once on my monthly trips to Chennai, i made it a point to use double cords from that point forward.

                          Something more disastrous could've happened - I am glad that you are safe and hope to see you do the same route and delight us with the pictures.
