Couple of things I would like to know:

    1) Let us know what was the *jugaad*. You did not hold it in your left hand because you were shifting gears while shooting the video. So how did you manage to do it?

    2) Have any video of Zoji-la?

**The ride along Pangong took my breath away!!
    Waiting for the next lot

And yes!! I DID watch in HD .
Thanks a lot. I placed the body inside my riding jacket, against my chest, with the lens poking out. Was a little risky, but then without that I wouldn't have had any videos of riding in Ladakh

Yes He Who Dares Wins, Completely defining Natures & beauty of North India through out your logs...

    Thanks a lot.

Don't get me wrong, I've been to many of the famous Indian beaches and Lakes, including other high mountain lakes. But none are as majestic and colorful as pangong.

Hats off in your Respect ...

    Waiting for Log now ...
    Thanks a lot.

Also some questions regarding the bikes performance during the whole trip....if it had some problems...how about the high revving street engine doing touring??...engine heating issues??...how much often did u decided to take a break from riding...also did u featured a puncture if so how u repaired it??...
Handle grips are quite dissapointing...so at such a big drive did it hurt.??
And how much your duke clocked before u took it to leh?...got it serviced before setting off to leh?
Pros and cons u would like to mention...
    Thats lot of qustns...lol..
But u might help me out as ill be buying one soon.
    Waiting for the next episode...
Thanks. Engine heating was there, fan used to go off, specially when offroading slow. But I think that is very normal. Never overheated. My KTM had close to 1500kms on the odo and fresh motul 7100 before starting for Ladakh.
Never had a puncture, always had 2psi more pressure in the tyres. Although I was carrying foot pump and repair kit.
I love the handle bar positioning. I don't know about the grips, I never ride without riding gloves and everything feels fine. I used Cramster TRG-2s and Tundras in this ride, and was also carrying woolen gloves and rubber gloves. Never needed them though.
More pros and cons about touring on the Duke will be posted later.

Thank you rikrozay. I'm not on Instagram, not yet. But I do have a flickr page where I upload once in a while. Feel free to check it out: Anirban Banerjee Photography's photosets on Flickr

    Awsome pictures !!!
    Thanks.
I clicked close to 40gb of pics. Out of 32 pictures of the last log update, 15 are HDR. I like doing multiple exposures when clicking landscapes. And the riding made me lazy, I wasn't even changing lenses often. Was happy exploiting the dyamic range that ladakh has to offer.

                      • Incredible stuff Anirban!

The Changla descent and till about 5km before the lake is an eclectic journey. Mountains change colour from red to brown to offwhite. Sand, snow, rivulets, rocks and greenery -- all within a few kilometers. Yaks, wild horses and sheep complete the picture. The excellent tarmac is just a bonus.
God was really in a good mood when he created this place. No, boring geography cannot explain this phenomenon.
