Duke would performed well. For me duke is like a Hybrid a Touring cum street fighter.

Keep posting, I will be glued to this thread. Great this is the 3rd LEH thread in 2 days.
Yes. Riding position is one of the main reasons behind me buying the duke. Perfect for the kind of sport touring I want to do.

Thanks a lot guys. Yes, seat had one inch of added foam.

Tyres were surprisingly good. Of course, dual purpose is what this terrain requires, but stock tyres are very Leh'able if ridden with caution.

Thanks. But I wasn't concentrating much on photography on most occasions. Wasn't changing lenses often, was only clicking when I had stopped for some other reason etc. For example, the gata loops pics is clicked without taking the helmet off. Many pics are like that. I was tired, or it was too cold or raining or too dusty, or I was saving batteries because I knew I would not get a chance to charge them on that said night.

I would like to shoot ladakh someday, with all my gear inside a dustproof 4x4. I went to ride, and motorcycle is the best if you really want to see a place as it should be seen.

    Great effort on your part!!
btw I have a relatively bad idea of riding from Mumbai to Kolkata come Durga pooja time. How are the routes? Safe enough?
Thanks bro. PM if you decide to do the ride. Would love to meet up! About the route, I don't have correct information, do some research!
