Phew...That went right over my head as my photography skills are too amateurish at best, and about my knowledge of technicalities of photography are less said the betterOriginally posted by krishna77 View PostMost welcome.

Re: Weekend/ Holiday rides: Joy of Motorcycling
Thanks for the concern Kanth and sorry for the delayed response. As you might already be knowing that bike is back. I went for a small ride yesterday. It was DSK Benelli Bangalore's celebration ride. The ride was of around 200 km round trip. Will share the details in ownership thread soon. I will resume one day rides from August, as my family has booked all three remaining weekends of this monthOriginally posted by kanth View PostSorry to hear that...read it about your bike's breakdown in the TNT 300 ownership review thread as well as on FB..hope this is just an one off issue as I am also anxiously waiting on the reviews as I am thinking of going for the TNT 600i...wishing you your bike gets back to you at the earliest without a hitch...and many more miles on it!!

Re: Weekend/ Holiday rides: Joy of Motorcycling
Nice to know, that your bike is back, I was checking out the DSK Benelli FB page and saw all the photos put up about Sunday's ride, could spot Arivindrao in some of those snaps, but didn't happen to see you, could even spot ironmarine in one of the photos....but not you...it looked a like big ride and everyone seems to have enjoyed it...I have sent a friend request in FB too, I guess you haven't noticed it....anyway, happy riding!!...Originally posted by experimentalhead View PostThanks for the concern Kanth and sorry for the delayed response. Re: Weekend/ Holiday rides: Joy of Motorcycling
I reached venue late. In fact I was the last rider to reach the party. Hence, not visible in 99% of picsOriginally posted by kanth View PostNice to know, that your bike is back, I was checking out the DSK Benelli FB page and saw all the photos put up about Sunday's ride, could spot @Arivindrao in some of those snaps, but didn't happen to see you, could even spot @ironmarine in one of the photos....but not you...it looked a like big ride and everyone seems to have enjoyed it...I have sent a friend request in FB too, I guess you haven't noticed it....anyway, happy riding!!...
Oops.. Not so active in facebook. Will certainly add. You too ride safe and wish you happy mile munching. Let's catch up sometime.

Ride 6: Shettihalli Church
Shettihalli Church:
Re-updating the log as my previous posts got lost during VB4 to VB5 to VB4 conversion.
Had an itch to visit this destination as I could not complete my ride on Benelli last time due to unforeseen circumstances.
This church was built about 200 years ago on the banks of Hemavathi River near Hassan. the monsoons fill up the reservoir which floods the church thus submerging it, as the water level recedes it emerges back
Roads are beautiful with less traffic. Weather was nice.
Started ride at early morning 5.30 AM. Had breakfast stop at Mayur. As usual saw the Harley group. Also met a friend with whom I had visited the church last time.
Reached destination at 10 AM. Met another rider who had come there on his RC 390. This time Church was submerged unlike last time. What a drastic change.
Rode back and reached home at 2.15 PM
Distance covered: 485 Km
Time for few pictures:

Ride 7: Hogenakkal Falls
Hogenakkal Falls:
Had visited this place in 2011 during a office outing. I had not even started my biking by then. So, wanted to ride to Hogenakkal falls for quite some time. Finally on August 23rd rode to Hogenakkal falls.
Started at 5 AM. Thoroughly enjoyed the ride as weather was beautiful. Coincidentally destinations I am riding to have beautiful highway stretches and final leg belongs to awesome country side roads and winding ghat sections. I did not remember the roads to this place from 2011 outing. But the awesome ghat section had fantastic roads with spectacular view.
Water was in full force at Hogenakkal falls and boats or coracles were not allowed. Thoroughly enjoyed the local sight.
Before returning, I visited crocodile park. Crocodiles are such creepy creatures. I remembered Steve Irwin, the crocodile hunter, wondering how he used to tame these creatures. May his soul rest in peace.
Was back home by 12:30 PM
Distance covered: 360 Km
Early morning:

Beautiful Highway:

Weather was nice:

Spectacular Ghats:

Nice country side road:

Hogenakkal, some loacal touch:

Local Massage parlour:

Finally, The Water:

One of the major attractions. Fish, right out of the river, into hot pan and then into tummy:

Local kitchen:

Crocodiles. Tribute to Steve Irwin:

This was the creepiest of all:
