Yes. I tried that. In fact, the army mechanic suggested and did that for me and inder. Actually, haven't added up the total expenses as of now and now chances of remembering everything are between slim and nil.

Altiture Sickness for bikes
This is the the only hassle in this ride.
Other than this, it is preferable if you change the rear tyre of your FZ since it is puncture prone.
